That's pretty straightforward isn't it, Voters? They are also required to swear or affirm to the following oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God

My question for you good folks, is threefold...... why do American employers work so hard to hire only the best employees they can find at reasonable wages to staff their offices, restaurants and factories.... and yet pay ABSOLUTELY NO ATTENTION to the work ethic or past record of these very expensive federal elected employees.

Why are OVER 90% of those congressmen seeking reelection --- reelected every two years, without breaking a sweat?

And finally - why do the American Sheeple watch this bi-annual application of the Peter Principle on a national basis -- and do nothing? If these were well qualified, hard working lawyers or businessmen, they would be successful in their private lives and only be willing to give up two or four years of their lives as a responsibility of good citizenship - and then return to their respective careers. And not lap at the federal trough for 60 years.....

Do you have an answer? I'll suggest a couple in the next few days -- but you might want to prepare your rebuttals or comments. Meanwhile, look at that job description again, and count the number of responsibilities that the Congress has handed over to the Executive Branch since the days of FDR!!!
