With a four star admiral for grandfather, and another 4 star admiral for a father, he finished 894th in his class of 899 cadets. God knows what happened to those lower five -- they probably became admirals in staff jobs at the Pentagon. His Navy career didn't exactly become a shooting star despite his Four Star genes -- and but for his unfortunate (and I give him full credit) shoot down and outstanding performance as a POW in 'Nam -- his career was not noteworthy and he retired quietly, perfunctorily and with no regret from the Navy.

Divorcing his first wife and mother of his children, he married a pretty blond with daddy's money, found a safe seat and ran for congress....... where he has been for the last 30 years. In spite of the Keating Five fiasco, the McCain-Feingold fiasco, and the 2005 McCain-Kennedy Immigration Reform fiasco.
But enough about him -- my question is, who died and appointed him to be the the Chuck Schumer of the Republican party. No matter the topic, the importance, unimportance -- he's in my face everyday opining his opinion ---
Take a break Johnnie -- or retire and sit at home in that rocking chair while that rich pretty wife supports you --- but give us a break... and by us, I mean conservatives who don't have a horned nose!!
