I reckon it's time to start waking up the troops!!

Usually of late, the GOP doesn't form it's circular firing squads until the primaries early in the election year. In this case, that would be 2016.

Unfortunately, the Grand Old Party is being played like a yo-yo and the political assassinations are already beginning. The Dims must be salivating at have the Oval office and maybe the House handed to them for another four years, no matter who their candidate is.  

I am reminded of the Rockefeller Republicans vs the Goldwater Conservatives back in the 60's. The Rockefeller moderates wanted to just go along to get along and keep their membership cards in the Beltway Club of good ole' boys. And the Conservative wing wanted to shake things up and make the gob'mint answerable to the people!  Sound familiar?

So here we are, a year before the next Congressional election, and 3½ years before the next presidential election and the Republican long knives are already coming out...  Moderate Christie vs conservative Rand Paul. Conservative Cruz vs (almost as conservative) Tom Coburn.  

The country club RINO's seemingly permanent inhabitants of DC vs the Tea Party Patriots. 

I dunno, it's gonna take another leader of Ronald Reagan's stature and communication skills to bring them together and I don't see someone like that on the horizon. With or without a white horse and white hat!

Keep in mind, before Reagan rode onto the scene, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Mitch McConnel were all Rockefeller Republicans...  They disavow that now of course, and go into overdrive to convince folks that they helped create RWR instead of vice versa....

I even read this morning that  Republican RINO Senator Johnny Mac proclaimed that if the two candidates for POTUS in 2016 was Hellary and Ron Paul -- he doesn't know who he would support or vote for..... 

Somebody, or some group, better figure out a way to disarm these politically suicidal maniacs and get them to come to terms --- or this nation will be only a distant memory.... like ancient Greece, Rome, and the like.
