...... I seriously wondered how he could steer the IRS into their nefarious ways of late. His handlers might, but since they are quiet background string pullers.... it seemed difficult for them as well.
I read a great article in Red State this morning which does, I think, provide the answer... and the answer to the 'how and why' question is simple -- Gob'mint employee unions!!
In this picture on the left, protesters are shouting in unison, "Hey, hey, ho, ho, Sequestration has got to go!!!"
Who are these protesters? Gob'mint employees secondly--- Internal Revenue Service employees tertiarily....... but primarily - they are loyal brothers and sisters of the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU)
The NTEU represents 150,000 employees in 31 different federal agencies and departments.
It stands to reason that if the NETU doesn't like the small gob'mint ambitions of the Tea Party and other conservative groups.... that the union would encourage... yep, you guessed it... encourage their union members to discourage, delay and demand information they had no right to assemble!
Another contributing factor is Executive Order 13522 signed by Obamanation hisself in 2009 just after being inaugurated. EO 13522 made union bosses equal partners with department heads, with whom "pre-decisional discussions' would be held before any department or agency decisions are made. Add this to the fire:
- these union bosses need not even be gob'mint employees
- these pre-decisional discussions are kept secret and not available thru the FOIA!!
How's that for an Executive plan just looking for a national disaster? So, while BO may not have his fingerprints on the orders to investigate and delay conservative 501C3 (non-profit corporations) that want to down size gob'mint and gob'mint regulations.... his fingerprints AND his signature are on the document that set it in motion!
I gleaned most of this item from a RedState article which you can access and read in it's entirety by clicking here.
I'll leave you with this question, repetitive as it might be: "Why do we allow gob'mint employee unions at any level of gob'mint?" The taxpayers pay both their salaries and the salaries of those with whom they negotiate --- the only folks not at the negotiation table are the prime party - the Taxpayers!!
