He stood up in front of the press corpse (sic), the national TV audience and the world at 6:20 PM Eastern and announced, in regard to the IRS scandal .......


(Treasury Secretary) 'Lew took the first step by requesting and accepting the resignation of the acting director of the IRS,’ Obama said.
‘It’s important,’ he added, ‘to institute new leadership that can help restore confidence going forward.’

And he din't even grin, smirk or wink!  The fact that Steve Miller, the acting commissioner of the IRS was already scheduled to leave in June, fifteen short days away never surfaced.  Nor did the fact that Miller had already e-mailed all departments and informed them of such. 

So much for restoring confidence in the most transparent administration in our Nation's history.
