Rick Santorum's political ambitions.......RIP !!!

Bless his heart, the young Pennsylvanian lawyer with a pure heart and a half a brain just spent the last four years fighting for the nomination of the Republican Party to be their candidate in this year's general election as President of the United States...

Dunno if it's Post Campaign Stress Syndrome, mental fatigue, or sheer desperation.... but he came to our great State of Texas yesterday and standing before God and a crowd of die hard Texas Republicans, speaking of Romney and Obama, he said:

"If they are going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of adding a risk of what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate for the future."

Say what? We'd be better off with Obamanation than Romney or some other Republican besides Santorum??

Hells Bells, we'd be better off with the Republican hotel porter where Santorum spoke than with four more years of a lame duck, unfettered BO & Biden cabal!

With apologies to Ernest Lawrence Thayer, who authored 'Casey at the Bat', I can only offer this revised final stanza.......

'Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Rick's campaign - for Santorum has struck out!'
