Have you ever noticed that when you look at a map of the United States, those states that are colored Democrat Blue seem to be in the most desperate straits and those painted Red seem to be paying their bills and meeting their budgets??
There are exceptions to this of course.... but as a rule, the states with Dim Legislatures and Gov's seem to be drowning in red ink and flailing about raising taxes and runnin' folks off.
On the other hand, there is Governor Butch Otter, up in the Red state of Idaho.... who is busy attracting new business to his state instead of raising taxes on those that are already there --- and runnin' them off.
Meanwhile, the Blue governors just wring their hands and whine....... and raise taxes - and whine!!
