Do First Ladies have to take the first bullet.....?

I saw this (top) picture of "O' and the FLOTUS coming out of the Green Duck (or whatever) last night in DC where they had had dinner to celebrate their 17th anniversary... Frankly, they don't look like a happy couple that just had a romantic dinner, do they? Body language says so much!

Then I got to thinking, maybe Michelle is striding in front for a purpose..... maybe to protect the her man.
So I checked back to see how other First Ladies handled this -- and Duh!!!
