Close one!!!

And of course, it's also a big day at the Whitehouse - because no one knows more about wearing a mask to get what you want than Barack Obama.

To celebrate, Barack and Michelle gave out treats on Saturday - which was more convenient for them than waiting until, oh, Halloween - despite the fact that bitterly cold rain and snow fell on the kids paraded for the first couple's photo-op.

The president looked out over the shivering tots and said, "You guys doing alright? It's not ideal out here. Let's give out some candy!" Which is, of course, what his teleprompter has been telling him to say for years now.

Each child received a box of M&Ms with a presidential seal (hello, Ebay!), a butter cookie in the shape of the Whitehouse (hello, Weightwatchers!) and, to ensure fond childhood memories of our gracious and generous first lady, a baggie of dried fruit.

But all too soon, the magical festivities were over and Barack Obama again turned his thoughts from All Hallow's Eve to All Hollow Promises...and making sure taxpayers are the ones left holding the bag.

In any event, HAPPY HALLOWEEN from Hope n' Change Cartoons - and remember to be generous tonight when scary-looking young people appear at your door demanding goodies.

Unless they've got drums, in which case they're probably members of Occupy Wall Street.

Chart of the Month for Thanksgiving....

There is a lot I am going to be saying about this chart for the next few weeks.

It speaks volumes if you click on it and look at the fine print. That reddish dotted line at the top represents college tuition inflation in this country over the last ten years.

The other lines represent health care costs, food, clothes, communications.

But take a long hard look at that top line and ask yourself, "Why do our top politicians and Obamation feel the need to keep tapping Mr & Mrs America's tax dollars to support these rich and getting richer, tax avoiding colleges and universities?"

I can think of several off hand without breaking a sweat -- and I'll bet you can too!

For now let me leave you with this question: "If the federal gob'mint stopped giving grants, privileges, and over sized loans to students to pay their tuitions - and these colleges and universities had to compete for every hard earned (not borrowed) tuition dollar --- rather than just sort thru the trust fund and Pell Grant candidate applications, what would happen to the dotted line on this chart?"

In his own words.......Obamanation seems to be advancing in the wrong direction......

How well does this Math Mensa think he is doing in his job?

Well, At a campaign event in Medina, Washington on September 25th, Obama told a crowd that his presidency was a success because he’d achieved 80% of his goals, and needed a second term to finish the last 20%:

"But understand we’re just starting off here. We’ve got 14 months, and I’m going to need all of you to help mobilize people and push back against arguments that say that somehow if we’re only — if we’ve only gotten 80 percent of what we wanted to get done, that that’s a failure. No, that’s a success — that should be an inspiration for us getting reelected so I can do the other 20 percent."

But then, just one month later at the Pepsi rally last week, he said:

"And on student loans and school reform and on a whole host of issues that don’t get a lot of attention — on doubling fuel efficiency standards on cars and trucks to not only free ourselves from dependence on foreign oil, but also to start reducing carbon in the atmosphere and making us more competitive, to saving the auto industry — I keep a checklist in my desk of stuff that I promised to do and we’re through about 60 percent of it — (laughter) — which isn’t bad for three years."

According to some - by election day Obamanation will be at a MINUS 180% accomplishment by election day at this rate.....

This 'toon ties into the entry just below..... (I think....)

Occupy Wall Streeters draw the line....

...by God, they're not going to feed perfectly good food to poor people! These wanna be hippy, trust fund babies despoiling Zucotti Park in New York City are fed up!!

Fed up with feeding hungry homeless people that dare come for a handout.

Apparently the word has gotten out on to the street, and recently released jail birds, and permanently homeless folks are showing up in the food tents for gourmet meals of organic chicken, spaghetti bolognese and sheeps-milk cheese salad....

No more! Cry these pretenders of human rights - these protesters of rich oppressors! No Sir. They are changing the menus to plain brown rice or PB&J sammiches!! Yesirree Bob -- let 'em eat PB&J sammiches.

Oh Lord - where is the humanity - where has the charity in the Occupy protesters gone.... at this rate, they'll soon be voting Republican!!!

Go here for more of this drivel if you can stand it!

The Door Bell

Power Line Blog held a prize competition for $100,000 for whoever can most effectively and creatively dramatize the significance of the federal debt crisis. Any creative product was eligible: videos, songs, paintings, screenplays, Power Point presentations, essays, performance art, or anything else.
Several entries have gotten a lot of attention and a lot of views or listens. But unquestionably, the one that has most gone viral so far is Doorbell.

Thank you....Ohio!!

Ohio Gob'nor Kasich is trying to save Ohio from total bankruptcy due to the public sector union contracts.... read teachers, firefighters, police, janitors, et al.

Now why do I say 'Thank You, Ohio'? Because yesterday - Ohio presented the platform for conservatives across the country to see (and hear) the difference between RINO Romney, and Conservative Rick Perry. The bill, Senate Bill 5, is probably going to fail in a state referendum November 8th.... never the less, Rick Perry stood foursquare in support yesterday in Ohio and said:

"As a true conservative, I stand with Gov. Kasich in promoting S.B.5 for fiscal responsibility and job creation in Ohio," Perry said in a statement to CNN. "Gov. Kasich and the Republican leadership of Ohio are to be commended for their efforts."

RINO Mitt Romney said, however, waffled and wouldn't specifically state his support for S.B 5. Instead he said:

"I am not speaking about the particular ballot issues," Romney said, after being pressed by reporters. "Those are up to the people of Ohio. But I certainly support the efforts of the governor to reign in the scale of government. I am not terribly familiar with the two ballot initiatives. But I am certainly supportive of the Republican Party's efforts here."

Yeah, right -- visiting the state and he is 'not terribly familiar' with the biggest topic in Ohio! Give me a break.......... oh, here's the link.

Great Quote came over my transom......

I took a couple of days to finish up a special project that I'll share with y'all in a week or so.... meanwhile, one of our regular Pilgrims slipped this jewel through my transom:

Obama has made numerous attempts to quote Lincoln

SO WHY DOESN'T OBAMA USE THIS FAMOUS LINCOLN QUOTE:

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
... Abraham Lincoln

Is that great or what?

Thanks and a Tip O' the Stetson to my vet pal Al up in Maryland

Question of the day...... When is a racist remark not a racist remark?

....and the answer is..... (apparently) ..... when it's said by a person of color.

A few years ago, an ESPN sports commentator said: "I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They're interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there's a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn't deserve."

The Reporter was soon after forced to resign from ESPN.

This week, an HBO sports commentator said about NBA Commissioner David Stern: "
But his efforts were typical of a commissioner, who has always seemed eager to be viewed as some kind of modern plantation overseer treating NBA men as if they were his boys, it’s part of Stern’s M.O. Like his past self-serving edicts on dress code or the questioning of officials, his moves are intended to do little more than show how he’s the one keeping the hired hands in their place."

I wonder if this Reporter will be asked to resign?

The first reporter was Rush Limbaugh speaking of Donovan McNabb. This last one was Bryant Gumbel on his HBO program, 'Real Sports'.

It wasn't a trick question - it's just a giveaway answer. After all this is how Gumball explained his disdain for the Winter Olympics: "Try not to laugh when someone says these are the world’s greatest athletes, despite a paucity of blacks that makes the Winter Games look like a GOP convention"

You figure it out..... btw Pilgrims, the average salary this year in the NBA, the plantation 'home' for all of those poor 'boys' that Stern oversees is .................. $4,8000,000!!!! That's the average salary.

The Mystery of Zuccotti Park................... solved!! And the answer is......!

Pilgrims, I been sitting here for a week trying to figure out how a 'spontaneous' group like the Occupy Wall Street Protesters & Bedwetters could stay in Zuccotti Park, NYC with no porta potties, no permits, no plan...... I found the answer in the Business Insider. I'm gonna cut and paste it here and acknowledge that it's a little longer than my usual posts.... stick with it though!

Here's The Real Reason Why Occupy Wall Street Protesters Aren't Getting Kicked Out Of Zuccotti Park

Coming on the heels of the Solyndra debacle, the Obama administration has just approved a $168.9 million loan guarantee for the Granite Reliable wind farm project owned by Brookfield Asset Management (BAM).

Among its many holdings BAM owns Brookfield Renewable Power, which owns the Granite Reliable and it also owns Brookfield Office Properties, whose holdings include the now famous Zuccotti Park.

The Department of Energy finalized the loan guarantee less than a week after Occupy Wall Street protesters took to Zuccotti Park, and with the Obama administration's Tuesday endorsement of the protests, rumors are starting to circulate that this could be the reason Brookfield is allowing protesters to remain on its property.

The Granite Reliable Power Project under construction in Coos Bay, New Hampshire is the state's largest wind farm and the New Hampshire Union Leader questions why Brookfield would need federal subsidies at all, particularly following the bankruptcy of Solyndra.

Mayor Bloomberg's announcement Monday that protesters could remain as long as they liked, also raised a few eyebrows and it turns out he has a personal connection to Brookfield as well. The mayor's longtime domestic partner Diana Taylor is on the Board of Directors at Brookfield Properties along with John E. Zuccotti himself.

Ain't that a kick in the head!! All this exotic 'just cause' BS and it just boils down to same old, same old....... who is greasing whose palm with the taxpayers money!!!

If you follow the link back to the article you'll also note this one additional kick in the butt in the comments section:

OK everyone, all together now, ACT surprised.

If you simply go back to the beginning, to the group that first called for these protests, you will find the Canadian group(go figure) Adbusters Media Foundation. Who are they? Recipients of over $300,000 from George Soros's Tides Foundation. Say it ain't so! They got another $176,500 from another of his orgs--the Democracy Alliance. The US Day Of Rage group, also part of this protest got money from the Tides Foundation also.

That was just some of the organizers. When Moveon.org moved in last week with the Union thugs and a host of other partisan groups the full body of Soros crews were now encamped.

Again, act surprised that Obama has now joined them.

That's all, I can't stand to read anymore....... my poor old head hurts!

So much for Obamanation care ...................

This story is huge. But will it be big enough to still be considered newsworthy by the news networks on Monday? We doubt it.

Achtung! Achtung!

Do y'all see that humorous little parody Teddy Bear of the Transportation Security Administration over there on the right?

Of course you do - I give you the easy questions first!

You might be interested to know that despite the 1st Amendment to our Constitution (y'know - that bothersome Freedom of Speech one) that if a House Bill introduced in the Congress, H.R. 3011 "Transportation Security Administration Authorization Act of 2011" is passed..... I could go to jail or somethin' just for displaying that parody logo.

Buried way down in the text, Section 295, it specifically bans use of the name, initials, or any similar logos of the TSA!

We can parody the POTUS, pan the Pompous, skewer the screwers --- but WE SHALL NOT MAKE FUN OF THE FONDLERS IN BLUE!! The airport bullies, the squeezers of breasts, buttocks and little kids genitals! No Sir!!!!

If you go to this linked site - H.R. Bill 3011, just scroll down in that index to the blue link to "Sec. 295. Protection of the names Federal Air Marshal and Administration" and read it for yourself...

Welcome to Big Brother's 2011, Pilgrims!!!!!!

(and I ain't even gonna comment on Sec. 297)

Obamanation's hatred for and contempt of the USA apparently knows no bounderies!!!

In the latest Wikileaks document dump, it shows that Obamanation wanted to go to Hiroshima and APOLOGIZE on behalf of America for dropping the A Bomb there in 1945.

In other words, take an American victory after a long bloody war, brought to an end by a firm decision by a Democrat Pres, Harry S Truman, hisself, and turn it into a day of shame for the USA.

When you sort your way through that tortuous and convoluted thought process, keep in mind that even BO knows that dropping those two bombs and forestalling actual invasion, saved at least two million Japanese lives - and at least one million KIA's in our own invading American forces.

Fortunately, wiser heads in Japan prevailed and told BO's boobs --- 'Ain't no way he his coming over here and fire up our anti-American and anti-nuclear groups. If he has a problem, he can live with it, we don't have to."

Here is a link to great Arthur Herman column on the topic. I like the way he reminds us that we had the perfect opportunity to show the flag over their during their terrible woes after the earthquake and tsunami hit earlier this year. We would have proven to be 'a friend indeed' as well as a job creator with assistance at that time...

But that was not to be for our numbero uno America hater!

The Olive Garden Chain must be French owned, not Italian.....

For the last couple of days, everybody in America has been reading the story that the Olive Garden Restaurant in Oxford AL refused to let a little old lady (80 y/o) display the American Flag at a Kiwanis banquet in their restaurant.

Their refusal was based on the fact that flags & banners might interfere with other's dining pleasure or something like that. And..... I suppose if Kiwanis had wanted to display the Swastika or even the CSA Battle Flag ... there might have been support for that position.

But!!! To ban the American Flag in Oxford Alabama, in a public restaurant because it might 'interfere with a customer's dining experience'? That's a little lame.

Bottom line - the story went viral! Every blog, every e-zine, even the evening news bannered it and bantered it as well.

Now, faster than the speed of light -- Olive Garden Headquarters has seen that light and extended a public apology and explanation for the "local team's misunderstanding of the policy".

Under the bus with you = local team!! Another lesson learned from Obamanation, toss 'em under the bus quick!

Now about the headline to this post - In WWII, even the Italians held out for a couple of weeks before capitulating.... the French however - that's another story!

By the way, several ex-Veteran social/chat sites I belong to have already scratched Olive Gardens off the 'go to' list. They are a very unforgiving lot!

Thank God and Senator Leahy for real maple syrup.....

While a few congressmen and senators in Washington are concerning themselves with $14 Trillion dollar national debts........ $2 Trillion annual deficits.....

And others concern themselves over the official 9.1% unemployment rate which everybody knows is closer to 16% across the country and 30% in the inner cities......

Some are even concerned about the war on terror, illegal immigrants streaming north across the border and DOJ guns streaming south across the same border....

While all of this is going on, the good Senator from Vermont, Patrick (Leaky) Leahy keeps himself occupied by introducing a FEDERAL bill making it a FEDERAL felony to be prosecuted at the FEDERAL level to label any pancake syrup as 'maple' syrup unless it contains maple syrup.

Now Pilgrims, I ain't gonna go into the number of products I consume every day, from instant chicken gravy to banana pudding, to store bought vanilla ice cream that are flavored with imitation flavors. Those products that I care enough to check have the ingredients clearly printed on the package. And if it is imitation 'chicken', 'banana' or 'vanilla' flavoring - guess what... it says so.

I just went out to the pantry and pulled out my jug of Hungry Jack Lite Syrup and guess what it lists in the ingredients.....? Yep, 'artificial flavoring'.

How much does it cost the taxpayers of this country to provide food, clothes, office and transportation for these fools in Washington.... Now there is a Federal Crime I could endorse... and you know what it is!

Gob'mint regulations and job creation -- Part II

In the post immediately below this one, my last one yesterday - I targeted one of the dumbest statements every made (publicly) by a sitting congressman: To wit: 'More gob'mint regulations cause companies to hire experts to comply with the regulations and thus - create jobs!' Or some such.....

This morning I opened up TownHall and read John Stossel's column: "Government the Job Killer".

In his column today he provides a specific example of how jobs are NOT created by over regulation and moreover, are STIFLED by gob'mint regulation.

On my best day, I couldn't compete with John's straight shooting style of writing (and talking), so I won't. I'll link you to his column here..... you decide if you want to take the time to read it.

My advice, of course; Do!!

If those bedwetters laying around the streets of New York City and other towns would march on DC and their regulation writing politicians and bureaucrats instead of Wall Street, they (and we) would be a hellofalot better off............

Question: Does Congressman Ellison (D-Minn) win the dumbest politician award or dumbest statement by a politician in 2011 - award>

"More Regulations create jobs"

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) tells MSNBC regulations create jobs because a business will have to hire people to help them comply with the new requirement.

"I think the answer is no," Ellison said when asked if he believes regulations kill jobs. "And here is why: When we talked about increasing fuel efficiency standards, the industry responded, and they need engineers and designers and manufacturers, and they need actually more people to help respond to the new requirement."

"I believe if the government says, look, we have got to reduce our carbon footprint, you will kick into gear a whole number of people that know how to do that or have ideas about that, and that will be a job engine. I understand what you mean, because if anything adds a cost to a business, you could assume that that will diminish that business's ability to hire. But I don't think that's actually right. I think what businesses want is customers and what -- if they are selling product, if they have a product to sell they will do well even if they have some new regulations to meet," the Congressman said.

Rep. Ellison tells MSNBC that he is against Republican attempts to defund the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) because doing so would "make us sicker and add to heart disease as well as everything else." (realclearpolitics.com)

I wonder if Mr Ellison is related to that Congressman that expressed concern that Guam might 'tip over' if we shipped any more troops there? Just wonderin'?

President Bush hosts "Warrior Golf Tourney" today.

There were many of his social programs that drove me nuts, but of one thing - I never had a doubt: President George W Bush is a man of class, patriotism and loyalty to his troops! A far cry from some of the pretenders of the past and present we see littering the White House!

Despite ABC's best efforts, they can't get him to speak out against today's president, his policies or his war efforts.......... Ain't no Jimmah Carter here.......

Signs of the times...............

Nobody ever accused the New York Times of unbiased reporting......

.... but when it bleeds into their obituary column - it gets to be a bit much!! As Evan Pokroy, of Mainstream Media points out in this bit......

"There is a certain evil hidden in semantics. One of the greatest powers the press holds is their subtle control of the way readers understand complex issues. These tiny pushes, over time, build up and corrupt the way the unsuspecting consumer pictures that story. The New York Times is a master of this insidious manipulation.

On Monday former Israeli Member of Knesset Rabbi Hanan Porat passed away after an extended illness. In its obituary of this leader of the Religious Zionist movement had this gem of a line (my emphasis):

Mr. Porat was a child of the kibbutz Kfar Etzion, which is on land that was later won by Jordan during Israel’s 1948 war of independence. He re-established the community after the 1967 Middle East war, when the land was conquered by Israel.

Jordan won the area. Israel conquered it.

It seems the Old Grey Lady is once more taking sides."

One thing to be said in her favor --- she is consistent in her bad!

About them Yankees........

I'm not a MLB fan, never have been - so I wasn't all shook up one way or the other when I heard that the Yankees were just given the rest of the year off last night by the Tigers. (I'll admit I was never a Steinbrenner fan, RIP)

Just out of idle curiousity, I Googled "Yankees lose" this morning and got 19 million hits in less than a second..... Wonder how many of them were NYC hits -- and how many were mob hits?

Does this mean Mr October, Reggie Jackson won't be in the news this month? What's that you say? He's not playing anymore? Who knew!! Maybe that's why they lost.

Between the Lions and the Tigers. Detroit seems to be on a roll! Now then, if they could just open an automobile factory under 'right to work' laws.

There is a new phrase in town....."Self-Deportation"

In the state of Alabama, where their strict new anti-illegal alien immigration law was recently upheld by a Federal Judge, there is a new wave of activity.

It is called 'self-deportation'. Former permanent resident illegal aliens are packing their bags and getting out of town.... or rather .... out of state. The unemployment rate is falling, the school crowding conditions are lessening, local companies are hiring.

Ain't it a hell of a note that it takes individual cities and states to pass and enforce immigration laws that are already on the federal books.... to effect any change. Arizona's illegals have headed to California. I don't know where Alabama's illegals are heading... but heading out they are...

Instead of Obamanation hoping that the other '55' states pass similar laws, why doesn't he prod Holder and Big Sis to start earning their paychecks.....

See related story two posts below or,

Is it no small thing? This Florida fight over 'dwarf-tossing"?

After drawing national attention back in the 80's for the 'dwarf-tossing' contests in Florida bars, the Florida State Legislature rose to the occasion and passed FS 561.665 which bans the activity by anybody who sells alcohol on the premises.

Now, State Rep Ritch Workman, has filed HB 4063 to repeal the law. He says he doesn't condone the dwarf tossing but he thinks the prohibition takes away freedoms and is against the American way.

"To me it's an archaic kind of Big Brother law that says, 'We don't like that activity,' " Workman said. "Well, there is nothing immoral or illegal about that activity. All we really did by passing that law was take away some employment from some little people."

So, the question for debate is: "Should Nanny State Gob'mint dictate the activities and employment possibilities of it's 'little people' purely because they can?"

To gird yourself for the debate on this, and other topics like wet tee-shirt contests and mechanical bulls in Florida bars -- click here for the rest of the story.

Alabama's new Immigration Law is paying off ALREADY..

1st ILLEGAL ALIEN ARRESTED UNDER NEW ALABAMA IMMIGRATION LAW IS FROM YEMEN!

From Tom Tancredo.com:

For months, America has been told by left-wing non-profits like the Alien Criminals Liberation Union (ACLU), La Raza and LULAC, that Alabama’s new immigration law H.B. 56, “targets Hispanics” and is “anti-Latino“. Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn wisely ignored that rhetoric when she let stand (pending trial) the law’s most critical section – having police check immigration status of individuals apprehended in a lawful stop or arrest.

Well, the very first such arrest has now occurred since the Judge’s ruling. And – surprise, he is not from Mexico, or any other Latino American nation. He is Mohamed Ali Muflahi, 24, from…Yemen!

That’s right, the same lovely nation where we just killed a terror-linked cleric with a drone missile, and the home of the “most dangerous branch” of Al-Qaeda, according to U.S. officials.

Muflahi was arrested for obstructing a government operation during a drug raid in Etowah County. He did not have documentation, and so his immigration status was checked – per the new law. It was determined he was in the U.S. illegally, and was “charged with violation of the immigration law.”

We are waiting for the reaction of the usual (hysterical) suspects. But we can’t say we are surprised. There has been a big uptick in illegal aliens who are “OTMs” (Other Than Mexicans), and thousands of people from terror-sponsoring nations have been apprehended at our borders in recent years, despite Janet Napolitano not wanting to discuss it.

And of course, 4 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 had overstayed expired student or tourist visas, yet had evaded discovery – despite stops for speeding – because laws like Alabama’s were not in effect.

Where's the love, man??

Do y'all recall Obamanation's earth shaking, emergency speech to a joint session of Congress to introduce his jobs bill? Remember the 17 times he implored them to pass his bill immediately?

That was how many weeks ago?

It turns out he didn't even have a bill yet; it was another week before his people cobbled one together. But here we are, after all his speeches around the country -- remember the exhortations, "If you love me, get this bill passed!" Hmmm.....

The bill that was finally scraped together and sent to Congress was introduced by Rep John Larson (D-Conn) in the House and Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev) in the Senate. ... period, end of list.... nada -- no sponsors -- zilch!

The Dems own the Senate - and they have 193 members in the House of Representatives .....

And Obamanation's jobs bill has NO sponsors on this 3rd day of October ..... What's up with that? I'll bet you don't hear this on your evening MSM news......

Fast, Furious, and Federal Obfuscation

Last Friday evening, after the news hour, the White House released stacks of new documents showing extensive communications between the ATF, DOJ and the White House regarding this disastrous program.

For the two of you living on a mountain top, Fast & Furious was an ATF program that allowed 'thousands of assault rifles and other weapons to be sold to suspected trafficker for Mexican drug cartels'.

Up till now, all three Departments have been busily pointing their fingers at each other and denying any culpability, much less any responsibility in this fiasco.

This late Friday night news dump is just the latest in the administration and DOJ's side stepping on this topic. Hopefully, news organizations are not so 'in the tank' that they won't pick up these dumped documents and pursue this to the end. Ala, Watergate and other government wrongs.

Yours truly searched long and hard to find the perfect editorial cartoon to go with this rant... this one fits the bill!

Two more examples that we have fallen through "Alice's Looking Glass"

Two headlines got my attention this week that would indicate that this (formerly) great country of ours is going deeper into the muck and mire of loss of identity.

#1. I'm not gonna comment on the number of wives that a Muslim can claim in his extended family when applying for gob'mint hand-outs. I'm not even gonna question why Obamanation's hirelings paid millions of our tax dollars to help Palestinians migrate here....

Nor will I question that when you call for gob'mint assistance up in Michigan, you can Press #3 for Arabic!!! How much does that cost us?

Naw, what I will do though, is suggest you go to this Michigan gob'mint Department of Human Services link and discover for yourself what the language choices are.

The Camel's nose is not only under the tent, that hump backed dromedary is poopin' in the middle of our three ring circus!!!

#2. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), long protector of atheist's rights and flag waver for the 'establish no religion' clause in the constitution, is reportedly now defending the rights of Muslims to pray in public schools in San Diego!

Yep, that same ACLU which for decades has threatened every village and town, school district and public building with the wrath of their pencil necked lawyers and expensive court cases if they should even think of breathing a prayer in one of their public meetings, sports events or buildings, is now bending over and grabbing it's collective ankles in the face of Muslim "I wants"

Do they fear CAIR or Sharia? Inquiring minds want to know. (link here)

Question: When is 28 more than 400,000?

The answer (as you 'spected it would be) is - 'When the US Gob'mint says it is."

Apparently 28 migratory birds have died as a result of trying to land or swim in an oil runoff pit in a North Dakota oil field. The Feds, in the person of US Attorney Timothy Purdon, is pressing forward for prosecution of the officials with the oil companies. Penalties can amount to six months in prison and $15,000 fine for each avian death.

Meanwhile, the wind turbines scattered across the fruited plains of the USA have killed about 400,000 birds (including eagles, hawks, herons and songbirds), but no gob'mint action is being initiated.

Isn't it nice to know that in these here United States, 'Justice is blind' and everybody is equal under the law --- no matter what Obamanation's green policies are?

Here's a link to the rest of the story on Hot Air: --- "No harm - no fowl"
