When is a squeaky wheel ---- squeaky enough?

This post is a little convoluted - so try to hang in here with me, Pilgrims.

I read an article this morning regarding the use of 'native Americans' as mascots or names for professional and college athletic teams. Think Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Washington Redskins to see where this is going.

Anyway, somebody with too much time on their hands surveyed a whole passel of those real American Indian folks and discovered that 84% of them had no real problem with these athletic team names.

Which of course, means 16% do.

Now here's my Monday morning conundrum. If 16% of a polled group are not enough to bother us or get our attention --- how come is it......

I'll repeat that HOW COME IS IT that this whole nation, our States, our Military, and our Congress has been stood on it's head over gay rights, gay marriage, gay hate crimes. It seems to me that the last time I looked it up, only 3% of the population was gay -- limp wristed -- or enjoyed changing under clothes with their opposite sex friends.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not gay bashing or even anti-gay here, I'm just asking the question as to why when it's convenient, 16% of one group are ignored and when 3% of another group are vocal and 'in your face' enough --- the whole Country goes into a hand-wringing state of self flagellation?

Just askin' ... you do the thinking, my head hurts.

An open question......................?

With his national approval ratings in free fall, Ole' Pecoz is sure scratchin' his head trying to figure out why, for the first time in 112 years, Obamanation and his cabal are stiffing the 8000 VFW National Conventioneers in San Antonio this week.

Not even an 'Undersecretary of Military Underwear' sent down to offer some 'Howdies'!!

I can't figger it -- he's going personally to the American Legion Convention in Minneapolis tomorrow.... maybe Texas is too hot --- or tooooo RED?

Or maybe he's been listening to Big Sis too much and is believing her hysterics about Americans veterans being today's terrorists.............

Like I said, I ain't got the answer.

Irene has a silver lining in the Oval Office......

In times of crisis, always turn to the nearest expert.....

With Hurricane Irene headed up the East Coast, who does that Gibralter of TV news, MSNBC turn to? Why that pinnacle of cool, managerial action in a crisis - ex-Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans.

They say you can't judge a book by it's cover..... but you can sure judge a news station by it's expert guests.

Yup, he who left thousands of citizens stranded during Hurricane Katrina, and hundreds of bright yellow school buses drowning in a parking lot lake - instead of using them for evacuating the former. Whatta guy! Who better to offer advice to Governor Christi and Mayor Bloomberg!

Do you suppose they are listening? I think not!!!

Obamanation's 'LIttle Shop of Horrors?

I am reminded of this movie this week by reports and quotes coming out of the DC Beltway. The Mighty BO has been sucking up to the unions ever since he first announced his candidacy for president five years ago and went AWOL from his day job in the Senate representing the folks of Illinois.

When the union bosses said jump, BO asked, "How High?". When the Hitlarian looking AFL-CIO capo de capo Richard Trumka said "Roll over!", Bo dropped and rolled and rolled.

I reckon a summary of pro-union moves this administration has fed to the union leaders is about as great as any since FDR. Saul Alinsky would be proud. NLRB seats, check. Card check, check, Ease unionizing, check! And on and on it goes as they kept feeding and feeding the monster.

Now we have an election year -- and guess what? Union Boss Trumka, he who brags, even makes mockery about his open door to the White House inner sanctums, declares; "It's still not enough. We are going to take our union members and all of their millions of dollars and set up our own political structure!" The Democratic party be damned, we wanna be fed and fed and fed!

That this happens does not surprise me. Pet pythons have a way of eating their owners eventually.

What does surprise me is the round heeled, do nothing attitude of the Black and Brown minority groups in this country. Every four years they get wined and dined, courted and lied to. Then ignored the day after election day with mere lip service until the next election cycle.

I wonder if any of them are young enough, smart enough and not yet sold on this Democrat plantation owner's noblesse oblige attitude -- and will watch and learn from Trumka and the other union officials as they spank the Dim Dem's leadership!! Their old timey leaders may be broken to this Democrat yoke, but I doubt if the whole younger generation is.

Our favorite Jewish Cowboy, Kinky Friedman endorses Gov Rick Perry - and it's fun!!

Kinky Friedman, writer, singer, and former candidate for the job of Gob'nor of the great state of Texas, formerly endorse Governor (and Presidential candidate) Rick Perry this week. In his usual irreverent way, he does it with humor and pretty sharp comments. Here's part of what he included in his statement:

Rick Perry has never lost an election; I’ve never won one. Maybe that’s what’s wrong with the world. On the other hand, I’ve long been friends with Bill Clinton and George W., and Rick Perry and I, though at times bitter adversaries, have remained friends as well. It’s not always easy to maintain friendships with politicians. To paraphrase Charles Lamb, you have to work at it like some men toil after virtue.

I have been quoted as saying that when I die, I am to be cremated, and the ashes are to be thrown in Rick Perry’s hair. Yet, simply put, Rick Perry and I are incapable of resisting each other’s charm. He is not only a good sport, he is a good, kindhearted man, and he once sat in on drums with ZZ Top. A guy like that can’t be all bad. When I ran for governor of Texas as an independent in 2006, the Crips and the Bloods ganged up on me. When I lost, I drove off in a 1937 Snit, refusing to concede to Perry. Three days later Rick called to give me a gracious little pep talk, effectively talking me down from jumping off the bridge of my nose. Very few others were calling at that time, by the way. Such is the nature of winning and losing and politicians and life. You might call what Rick did an act of random kindness. Yet in my mind it made him more than a politician, more than a musician; it made him a mensch.

These days, of course, I would support Charlie Sheen over Obama. Obama has done for the economy what pantyhose did for foreplay. Obama has been perpetually behind the curve. If the issue of the day is jobs and the economy, Rick Perry is certainly the nuts-and-bolts kind of guy you want in there. Even though my pal and fellow Texan Paul Begala has pointed out that no self-respecting Mexican would sneak across the border for one of Rick Perry’s low-level jobs, the stats don’t entirely lie. Compared with the rest of the country, Texas is kicking major ass in terms of jobs and the economy, and Rick should get credit for that, just as Obama should get credit for saying “No comment” to the young people of the Iranian revolution.

[..............]

So would I support Rick Perry for president? Hell, yes! As the last nail that hasn’t been hammered down in this country, I agree with Rick that there are already too damn many laws, taxes, regulations, panels, committees, and bureaucrats. While Obama is busy putting the hyphen between “anal” and “retentive” Rick will be rolling up his sleeves and getting to work.

A still, small voice within keeps telling me that Rick Perry’s best day may yet be ahead of him, and so too, hopefully, will be America’s.

Click here to read the rest of Freidman's endorsement and column in The Daily Beast.com. It's a fun read that makes lots of sense.

R.I.P. - Joey Vento - a true American!!

You remember the name, but can't remember why?

Joey Vento was the owner/operator of "Geno's Steaks', a Philly Cheese Steak Restaurant in Philadelphia, whose unbowed head and unbended knee stirred true Americans across the country. Michelle Malkin summarizes it better than I could:

Blunt. Brash. Bold. Politically incorrect. Unapologetically patriotic. Philadelphia cheese-steak king Joey Vento was all that and a side of freedom fries. The 71-year-old owner of Geno's Steaks died of a heart attack this week, but he reignited a national debate over radical multiculturalism that will burn for years to come.

Five years ago, Vento garnered national headlines when a local newspaper profiled his outspoken views on customers who couldn't speak English. He hung a sign in his order window that read: "This is America. When ordering, speak English." Though he never turned anyone away, the grandson of Italian immigrants informed hungry patrons that he reserved the "right to refuse service" to those he couldn't understand.

No menus in 10 different languages. No dumbed-down pictographs for the idiocracy. The choice at Geno's is simple: Sink or swim. Learn English or eat somewhere else. "If you can't tell me what you want, I can't serve you," Vento told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "It's up to you. If you can't read, if you can't say the word 'cheese,' how can I communicate with you -- and why should I have to bend? I got a business to run."

Vento's refusal to coddle triggered a tsunami of complaints from self-appointed civil rights leaders. The ululations of the aggrieved resounded from sea to whining sea.

For exercising his constitutionally protected free speech, both the Philadelphia City Council and Philadelphia Human Relations Commission launched political inquisitions against Vento. Yes, it really happened in the home of Independence Hall. Members of the government bodies demanded that Vento remove his bald eagle-adorned sign and threatened to revoke his business license. After 21 months of investigation, a marathon seven-hour hearing and hysterical testimony likening his innocuous 4-inch-by-9-inch sign to "Jim Crow laws," he was cleared of discrimination charges.

Plainspoken as ever, Vento understood full well why the multi-culti mob wanted to gag him: "I say what everybody's thinking but is afraid to say."

For the rest of this great column and eulogy by Michelle Malkin, click here. It's a good read and a great motivating reminder of what this country could be.

Recieved an interesting composit poster over my office transom earier today.......

Seems like there has been a whole lotta comparing of Gob'nor Rick Perry with the current POTUS!

Seems like a look back at their life as twenty-two years olds speaks reams.

I'm just sayin, ya' understand.....

I'm not suggesting anything mind ya'. I'm just repeating facts.......

On August 22nd (Monday) the most recent Gallup poll showed Obamanation's job approval rating at a new LOW of 38% !!!

On March 31, 1968, LBJ's job approval rating according to the Gallup Poll hit a new low - of 38%!!

This is what LBJ, the creator of the Great Society did. You can save yourself some agony and go straight to the 4:45 time on the tape.

Who woulda' thunk we'd look back at LBJ as a brave and courageous man??

Did y'all hear that sound of sucking wind?????

In an interview with CBS, home of Uncle Walter Cronkite and Dangerous Dan the Fakir, our POTUS opined that; His sinking numbers are only as a result of the voters unhappiness with Congress!

Yup, you read that right..... he has to suffer the slings and arrows of lower approval ratings because congress is doing a 'bad job'...

I won't belabor this crass crapoloa.... go here and read it.

Pecozbill needs a break from this narcissistic jerkola!

Some folks just never 'GET IT'..... Rumpelstiltskin is a Fairytale!!!

Do y'all hear that sound? Yeah, that sound ..... the tin can rolling down the road! We've beaten that metaphor, simile or whatever to death the last couple of months, but shucks it's still the word of the day.

Schumer seeking to extend interest-free loans to states in September

By Pete Kasperowicz - 08/19/11

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is planning to introduce legislation that would extend the ability of states to borrow billions of dollars interest-free from the Federal Unemployment Trust Fund (FUTF) to help pay state unemployment claims, and said failing to extend this program would crush small companies in his state and possibly others.

The 2009 stimulus bill gave states the ability to borrow from the FUTF without paying interest, but that benefit will expire at the end of fiscal 2011, or Sept. 30. Schumer said the expiration means an interest payment will be due at the end of September.

New York borrowed $3 billion from the FUTF to help make unemployment payments, which translates into a $95 million interest payment. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, 28 states plus the Virgin Islands have borrowed a combined $36 billion from the fund, which means other states will face the same problem New York is facing.

California is the largest FUTF borrower, at more than $8 billion. Other states that have borrowed more than $1 billion are Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. (for more go to the article in TheHill)

In twenty-five words or less: Like every other spending bill ever generated in congress, the Porkulus Bill created a one time money source for states with holes in their unemployment bucket. Schumer proposes to make this another everlasting hole in the Federal bucket!

Sorry, I ran thirteen words over the Twenty-five I allotted myself but I'm learning from Schumer how to do that stuff.

I reckon those world class idjits have been in Congress so long, they believe Bernake is like Rumpelstiltskin can spin straw into gold, or at least paper into real money. Lord have mercy!

Earth to Chuck-you Schumer --- we are broke.. in debt... out of money... unable to borrow more! It's belt tightening time!! Time to close that treasury cash register that y'all treat like a food bank....

Anti-OBAMANATION road signs draw fire from the Bully's pulpit!

In this great land of the 1st Amendment guaranteeing our right to free speech. Deed sometimes contradicts beliefs.

Below, you will find a link to some privately owned very anti-Obamanation signs to be found along Interstate 5 up in Washington (one of the Bluer states). What is interesting in this year of 2011, the Administration has decided that it's not happy with these signs and are insisting, no - DEMANDING, with your tax dollars, that they be taken down.

Not just through the courts, but also by threat of withholding federal highway funds from the state.

The office of POTUS has been called the 'Bully Pulpit' since the days of Teddy Roosevelt..... but I think the current resident of the White House brought his Chicagoland gangsta bully tactics with him and given rise to a whole new level of 'Bully' .... what do you think?

I hear Obamanation is gonna make another speech to the Nation as soon as his vacation is over next month......

'What is good for General Motors, is good for the country!"

That famous quote, uttered by the President of General Motors, Charles E Wilson back in 1953 during his confirmation hearings for Secretary of Defense. His words were a truism of the times.

My My, How times have changed!

The headline today is "GM is not responsible for fixing a suspension problem in 400,000 Chevy Impalas (2008/9 models) because they were built by the 'old GM' that declared bankruptcy. Not our 'new GM' who isn't obligated by those pesky guarantees of the Old GM.

Apparently owners of 2008 and 2009 Impalas are burning through a set of tires in 6,000 miles because of a 'faulty rear spindle rods' in those vehicles.

Not our problem, the new Gob'mint Motors says ---

Just one more sign of the CHANGE that Obamanation and his henchmen have wrought on this formerly great company and this formerly great country!!!

Not what we had HOPEd for, I'll wager! Ask an Impala owner!!

Brer Rabbit revisited...... Don't throw me in that briar patch....

I had to chuckle out loud this morning as I read another Reuters column commenting on the Obama Team's picks for easy to beat Republicans. Reuters (AKA - Obama water carriers) names few sources for these hot revelations... , preferring to identify them as 'spokesman or spokeswoman for the Obama re-election campaign.

Surprise - Surprise!! They are more feared of RINO Romney, or even the poster boy for in-breeding between the parties, John Huntsman........ than they are of Perry, Bachmann or some other strong conservative candidate. They didn't even mention that lady from Alaska.

What a pile of hogwash!! This whole country is afire with rage at the destruction of our nation, one brick at a time. Of apology tours, of changing NASA's role to one of 'promoting record of Muslim's contributions to Science over the centuries, and our astronauts hitchhiking on Soviet Space ships.

We're tired of open borders, amnesty, crime in the cities, the falling dollar, the failing economy!

The conservative business folks, job creators and investors in this country are looking for leadership..... someone to move the gob'mint out of the way. And if the Republican National Committee is foolish enough to take their marching orders from the DNC and the lame stream media --- they deserve to lose again, just like they did with Johnny Mac in 2008.

I hope all you Pilgrims will be working to make them see the light come primary season and keep your e-mails flying twixt now and then!!!

The Dims may prefer a RINO in the White House if they should lose it next year, but Mr & Mrs America would prefer a solid conservative pro-American President!!

Don't throw that hat, Paul Ryan, don't throw that hat..

Words and rumors have been skipping back and forth across the Internet today that Congressman Paul Ryan, R-Wis, and Chairman of the House Budget Committee is thinking about throwing his hat into the ever enlarging circle of hats belonging to GOP presidential wannabees!

For what it's worth, Congressman Ryan.........DON'T DO IT!!

We need you and your leadership in the House these next two years to help lead us out of the financial wilderness. You are the only guy smart enough and with enough background to lead us to the promised land of balanced budgets and fair taxes!

The minute you announce, every left wing, limp wristed, pencil necked, pointy toed shoe wearer in the land will pounce on your every word. They'll run a million TV video's of you pushing Granny off the cliff. They'll shred you 24-7 and all of your planning, study and leadership along with it.

You are young, stay the course in the Congress and serve where your country needs you for the next two to six years -- then look at your options - but don't jump now!!

Your Humble Servant,

Pecozbill

What econominc downturn 'you talkin' about Willis?

So for this, we get to buy Obamanation two $1.100,000 dollar buses to tour Iowa!

Not to mention the carbon footprint of the other fifty vehicles. And Air Force One (& Two & Three) flying him out to catch his Million Dollar Greyhound Tour!

Most popular question he's running into so far? "How come y'all sit around the Oval office calling us all Tea Party Terrorists, Mr President?"

Not a great sound bite for all those millions of dollars spent. But they are taxpayer dollars so I guess it doesn't matter!

Some thoughts on England's Riots & Our Second Amendment

Like most of you, I've been watching the riots in the cities across England and wondering if they are a precursor of what we will see in in the USA if (and hopefully, when) federal and state gob'mints start cutting back on all the handouts and freebie's folks have been used to getting.

I noted that in a country where they don't play baseball, the sporting good stores of London, Liverpool, and Luton, England, have sold out their total inventories of American style baseball bats. Interesting!

Apparently, they are the self defense weapon of choice in a population that has been disarmed by their government on the one hand, and left unprotected by a too thin police force on the other. Shop keepers, homeowners, apartment dwellers have no other means of defending themselves.

My thoughts leap across the 'Big Pond' to our great land. Could it happen here? Now Ole Pecoz ain't no Nostradamus mind you, I'm not even a great prognosticator of football game winners.... but I think I can picture the pattern now.

In those Blue states up and down the Left Coast, The North East and upper mid-west, I see similar riots happening in city after city. I hope not of course, but I can see them developing next year if Congress does it's job and turns off the spewing fire hydrants of gob'mint tax dollars for so called entitlements.

But then I look at those 'Red' states in Flyover country, with reasonable gun laws, Concealed Carry Licensing, and general respect for private property and the sanctity of life - and I see a whole 'nother scenario. I see hooligan bullies forming crowds, running rampant but coming up short as the first shotgun blasts come out those store front doors as their owners protect their life's investment. And as that pedestrian pulls out his Glock 40 Concealed carry weapon when cornered by a threatening group of punks. And pulling back as that harmless looking lady pulls a Pink 38 Special out of her purse.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not predicting a 'Gunfight at the OK Corral' in these Red state cities and towns ...... just the opposite! I'm predicting that an armed, defended population will not put up with being victimized, nor depend on and wait hopefully for the stretched police force for protection, and the bully boys and looters --- will disappear back into their La Cucaracha hidey holes and let the peaceful demonstrators make the case for more welfare handouts.

I hope that our Nation doesn't come to this..... but if it does, you can bet I'll be armed with my Concealed Carry License. And carrying of course!!

With all the Iowa folderal going on, I plumb neglected my duties in here ....

You have all seen this tense scene from the White House Situation room, I am sure. Orambo at the ready to protect and to serve....

Now apparently, the White House is turning over all the 'facts' of the Osama raid to a couple of their Hollywoody buddies. The intent being, I reckon, to create a heroic Orambo film to be released next October, just before the polls open!

Thanks to 'Hope n' Change' we can get an inside look at how production of the film is going. Apparently, there are some who think the script is as over the top as is the whole dumb idea. But that ain't for me to say -- that's for y'all to judge!!

Dr Seus, updated..........

This flew in over my transom a few days ago from a retired Vet and career Banker. I sat on it, but thought that perhaps it might be time to share it:

Doctor Seuss, August - 2011

I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam.

I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books.

I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their secret deals.

I do not like this former speaker Nan, I do not like this 'YES WE CAN'.

I do not like this spending spree, I'm smart, I know that nothing's free.

I do not like their smug replies, when I complain about their lies.

I do not like this kind of hope. I do not like it. Nope, Nope
, Nope.

And I thought.......

Dr Seuss looked through his glass, and could tell a statesman from a horses ass,
He suffered fools most miserably, and was the first to say so don't you see!
He did not like the liars and cheats, the ones who scam folks with their tweets,
Honest American patriots led his band... that's something we can understand!

Think on it Pilgrims.......

(Thanks and a tip o' the stetson to Ben, of Montana)

Did y'all watch the so called debate in Ames Iowa last night?

I say so called, because in my ole' head, it wasn't a debate so much as it was a two hour session of creating sound bites, Not just the candidates, as the questioners also seemed determined to see who could ask the biggest 'gotcha' question among themselves.

Not even mentioning Chris Wallace's stupid question of New Gingrich regarding staff, I thought that the Washington Examiner's Byron York's question of Michelle Bachmann on 'submission' to her husband left the plane of stupidity and approached the level of misogyny!

When I went to bed, I couldn't sleep and had a wild idea..... like next year once the conventions are over and they have debates between the two candidates ---

The two candidates walk in and stand behind their respective lecterns -- no notes, no crib sheets... the Moderator says:

"Mr R, you have often commented on how you would solve our fiscal problems. You have up to five minutes to state your case. Then Mr D gets five minutes of rebuttal, then you get two minutes to come back and then Mr D gets two minutes, then you both get a minute. If either of you run over your allotted time, it will be subtracted from your rebuttal time and conversely - you can save time for rebuttal if you choose. You'll each have a total of exactly ten minutes per topic.

We moderators will only keep the time - other than that we'll stay out of it... When this twenty minute segment is over, we'll introduce the next subject and start all over again.

just so you can be thinking about it - although we won't address them all tonight - possible topics are: Energy, jobs, entitlements, deployment of troops overseas, ................etc etc

Mr R - by the flip of a coin, you get to start."

Now wouldn't that be refreshing???

Your gob'mint citizens, ...... Your gob'mint.....!

It was announced today that YOUR US Gob'mint today denied the family of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, the category of crime victims!!! You remember Agent Terry, he was killed by a gun 'allegedly' sold by our Gob'mints ATF agency.

Yep, now I'm no lawyer, and I never played one on TV, but apparently the United States of America Government is afraid to have Patrol Agent Brian Terry's family in court during the sentencing trial because ................ as "Some speculate that the U.S. Attorney's Office may cut a deal with Avila in exchange for information to be used against his associates. That deal could mean little or no jail time, and a controversial sentencing day in the courtroom. Having the Terry family fight that deal, could further embarrass and complicate Burke's case."

I repeat my headline Pilgrims .... right, wrong or indifferent -- this is YOUR US Government and it's lackeys doing this.... For the rest of the story from Fox News, click here.....

Maybe we ought to speak up????????

Walmart Sign over Express Lane ......

Durn!! I sure hope this sign over the express lanes in Walmart are just a cute way to get folks attention ..... and not.... the only way to communicate the instruction!!

(Thanks and a Tip O' the Stetson to Al of MD!!)

The smoke has cleared in Wisconsin......

.... this morning after yesterdays recall battle. For those of us fortunate enough not to live in the Wisconsin TV broadcast area, we have dodged the 24-7 political TV ads and half-truths! Out of state resources (read union headquarters - nationwide) have been shipping in their union member's hard earned dollars by the pallet load in an effort to unseat (recall) 6 GOP state senators who had the effrontery to vote for budget saving, taxpayer saving, anti-public union bills.

When it's all totaled up, upwards of $40 Million dollars will have been spent on these six little old State Senator races. To put that number in perspective, that's more than twice as much money as was spent on ALL 116 State Races in Wisconsin last year!!

Final score - GOP kept 4 of 6 seats. Dimmocrat Unions - won 2 of 6 races.

Bottom line - GOP maintains control of the Wisconsin State Senate, Ad agencies and TV stations got richer and union coffers got smaller.

But I would suggest this is not the time to celebrate winning anything more than a battle! The war between public service unions and the downtrodden tax payers will go on.... and on! The union bosses see this as a matter of the survival of their well padded fiefdoms and will continue to fight the battles with their members money - and efforts.

The question is, how many times can the unorganized taxpayers be motivated to come to the sound of the bugles and help stave off these tax robbing hordes coming over the walls........

Stay tuned, two more recall elections in Wisconsin next week!!!

Our founding fathers were brilliant............

But, unfortunately, they weren't infallible......

They adjourned to quickly!!

Senator (I am a Vietnam Vet) Kerry is still frothing.....

That true patriot and Massachusetts Senator with Purple Hearts on his band-aids, Heinz-Kerry seems to have been wound up and sent out on his new courageous mission.

Since he is of no import in DC, the DNC left wing nuts just march him up to any cameras and microphones that Chuck-you Schumer hasn't already commandeered and starts spouting anti- Tea Party spittle.

Now Pilgrims, I have no idea why "Lurch of the Left" has this almost paranoid fear of the Tea Party, but somebody must have hit him in the face with wet tea bag when he was a kid and he's been afraid of them ever since!

Two recent cases in point:

On the Morning Joe show a couple of Friday's ago, he lambasted the media for giving equal time to the Tea Party. "It doesn’t deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do" I'll link you to the video, but before I do -- I wonder out loud what Big Haired John would say if Rush Limbaugh came on and made the same absurd statement about the Democrat Party -- Hell, he'd go berserk! Here's that link to Morning Joe through the Blaze.

Now, this weekend, he (and former and future Obamanation advisor) David Axelrod took to the Sunday morning talking head shows and ...... reading from the sam
e DNC crib sheet talking points stated affirmatively - "I believe this is, without question, the tea party downgrade." Click here for link.

Not only nonsense, but you'd think a United States Senator could serve a better purpose than just being a waterboy for Debbie Whuzzer-shootz of the DNC, wouldn't you?

And to think he almost became President -- whatta country!

"Alibi Bo"!!! It's never his fault.......

If not the Rascally Republicans, it was the Tsunami in Japan, the riots in Greece, the ungrateful masses....

But never his!!!

Which came first, the Senator or the State?

The man currently taking up otherwise useful space in the Oval Office just now, used to be the Junior Senator from Illinois.... you know - that borderline bankrupt state in the Mid-West. His prior job was as a state senator in that same state.... I know this only because after a series of 'Present' votes, he finally took a stand and voted FOR an Illinois State law that made it legal for a licensed medical doctor to take a tiny human being that had survived the trauma of abortion -- and throw it on a shelf until it expired! (That means --- dead!!!)

Yeah, that guy!

Well, it turns out that although the average political IQ in the State of Illinois should have risen when he departed the State, it apparently hasn't. I read today that the School District of Elgin, Illinois has serious financial problems. So serious in fact, that they have fired school crossing guards, art and phys-ed teachers, and even extended school pick-up spots to save money and let the tykes walk further.

Bless their hearts -- are they fiscally responsible or what? Oh yes, I reckon I ought to point out that despite this shortage of funds, the school board just voted unanimously to create a new 'Chief of Equity & Social Justice' position. They then hired Chicagoland's Ushma Shah to fill the job........at an annual salary and benefits cost of $132, 450 per year......... the first year that is!

Now like you, I wondered what exactly does a Chief of Equity & Justice do? So I Googled and discovered that thousands of others wondered as well. Click here for a summary of how the Courier News defines it....... although I think the second paragraph says it all!

Poor ole' Jimmah Carter ...

As I took the day off in here yesterday to sit and tearfully watch the Dow do a swan dive -- with HOPE not to see all my CHANGE go down the toilet..... I thought to myself --- 'Self - you are watching another Jimmah Carter record going down the toilet'.... it was on his watch, the last time the Market plummeted for NINE STRAIGHT DAYS!!

Ye Gads, was that 30 years ago already? Seems like his disastrous four years just ended a while ago and now..... we've gone and done it to ourselves again.

The hundreds of times in here that I have addressed 'The One', as Obamanation -- I had no idea that for the nation - it would come to pass....

Today is Friday, will this be the all time record setting Tenth Day of Dow Dipping? I'd like to think not -- however I think today is the day that the number of new jobs created in the Nation is announced........ That doesn't bode well.

Stay tuned, don't worry, be happy! There is some good news --- the 'Dear One' is going on a taxpayer's paid bus trip fer a while -- maybe he'll quit hitting all those buttons in the Oval Office.

I reckon Ole' Jimmah must be Barry's biggest fan! Jimmah's moving up a notch on the worst presidents list.......... rapidly!

Sarah Palin tells it like it is..............again!!

After the Dem's (including Joltin' Joe Biteme) spent the day yesterday name calling and even calling the Tea Partiers 'terrorists'...... Sarah Palin put it in context on Sean Hannity's program last evening:

"If we were really domestic terrorists, shoot, President Obama would be wanting to pal around with us wouldn't he? I mean he didn't have a problem with palling around with Bill Ayers back in the day when he kicked off his political career in Bill Ayers apartment, and shaking hands with Chavez and saying he doesn't need any preconditions with meeting dictators or wanting to read US Miranda rights to alleged suspected foreign terrorists. No if we were real domestic terrorists I think President Obama wouldn't have a problem with us."

Makes you wonder why American Conservatives are even thinking about nominating another RINO for the nation's highest office next year!

Oh, excuse me, did you say that it's the 'moderates' that fear her? I'm sorry, I reckon I never met a moderate with an opinion of any import!

Obamanation to 'focus on jobs' now that we gave up on spending restraints.....

I was plumb tickled to hear our POTUS say yesterday - 'Now the debt ceiling matter has been resolved under his adult leadership, he is gonna focus on jobs!' (paraphrased of course)

Somehow this phrase 'focus on jobs' seemed a mite familiar - so like any good lazy American, I Googled with the search content of: "obama, focus on jobs"......

Lord have mercy, in 0.18 seconds, Google came up with 127,000,000 hits!! I knew he'd used that phrase often, but 127 million times in 2½ years? Whoa Nellie!!

I started scanning the first few thousand and found that many were duplicates, repeats, copies and such like...... whew! Apparently, he only promised to think about jobs from morning till night, to focus on them like a laser, to think about them first and last, to make jobs priority one, to put Americans back to work, to reduce the unemployment rolls, to find meaning job, yaddayadda yadda .... a few thousand times, not all those millions!

That's good to know. Else wise, folks might get the impression that his middle initial stands for Hyperbole instead of Hussein!

I wonder when he and Congress are going to do their job, and present last years budget? It has been over 800 days since we've seen one!.........

I hope all them folks joining him in Chicago tonight for that $35,800 per couple fund raiser buffet dinner have jobs.......... or deep credit cards!!!

Obamanation -- A man of his word!!!

Why am I not applauding?

Last night, when the House of Representatives voted to approve the $2.4 Trillion Dollar debt ceiling.... they applauded themselves. I got to wondering why?

Maybe because they broke their own record..... it was the largest single debt ceiling limit in the 235 year history of our great Republic!!! Easily surpassing the previous record number of $1.9 Trillion increase set way back.......way back.......... whoops........ just last year and signed by Obamanation in February, 2010!!

Lets see now, my third grade teacher didn't even know what a Trillion dollars was - but the total of these two increases raised the nation's debt limit by $4. 3 Trillion in just 18 months. For you folks who like to look at the real number, that would be; $4,300,000,000,000,000!!!

Yessir, I can see why they would applaud themselves. They are true record setters. Just a few years ago, when Reagan was POTUS, the entire debt (not the increase) was limited to $2.35 Trillion... We've come a long way baby!

It would be scary enough to say that last night, every man, woman and infant in the United States of America became personally responsible for more than $7741 worth of national debt. However, since only half of the tax paying age folks actually pay taxes -- that amount of debt for each of us that actually pays taxes is -- drum roll here........... -$51,063 dollars!! Did you sleep well or wake up with a headache?

Remember now Pilgrims, that was just last night-- your share of the total nut now is; $355,319!! And that doesn't include another $114 Trillion dollars in US Unfunded Liabilities for Social Security IOU's, Drug & Medicare entitlements... add on another Million bucks for that!!

Whew! Good thing that pesky debt ceiling debate is over.....

Now the ticket window can open in Chicago for that $35,000 per couple Obamanation Birthday Bash this Wednesday night!

Folks have been lining up in Chicago for days to buy tickets. Fortunately, with the unemployment rate at 10.4% (down from 10.6% last year) after the Trillion Dollar Porkulus Bill saved 'em), they are still mostly unemployed so they have plenty of time to stand in line!

Yessir - Yessir,

'Happy Days are Here Again!'
The skies above are clear again
So let's sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again"

Update to most recent post..........

One of my daily viewers (I do have two, y'know) e-mailed me this picture to go with my comments in that last post regarding the 'emperor has no clothes'.

Since this pic reflects the more common 'Empty Suit in the Oval Office', opinion prevalent in the country -- I think it's the perfect picture! Don't y'all?
