Remember that old column? When defining the schizophrenia of the American Public, one need look no further than current polls....
I offer the following definition without comment:
Latest Polls (Real Clear Politics)
POTUS: Approval rating - 49% Disapprove - 41%
Direction of Country: Approval rating - Right - 36% Wrong 56%
Obamacare: Approve - 33% Oppose - 51%
Defunding Obamacare: Disapprove - 55% Approve - 35%
So 49% of those polled approve of the POTUS leading us in the wrong direction!
And, 55% of those polled do NOT want Congress to defund a program that 51% oppose!!
