This week it was discovered that New Jersey missed out on a $400 million education grant because of an error in the Education Commissioner. Christi took it as a loss, but lived with the mistake and apologized to the New Jersey Citizens..

Then he found out that the Department of Education had misled him. His reaction? He fired the Commissioner forthwith! The commissioner apparently had made some compromises in the proposal to satisfied the NJ Teachers Union..

The commissioner asked to be fired instead of submitting his resignation so he would be eligible for unemployment pay.. Where I come from. if you get fired for cause, you don't draw unemployment pay... ah well!

Are the Republicans forming up another Circular Firing Squad?

It seems to yours truly, that the Republicans, once again, are forming a circular firing squad to ensure that expected wins in November turn into losses .... i.e.,

- Florida - hints are coming that McCollum (the gubernatorial primary loser) is thinking of endorsing the Dem winner instead of the Republican that beat him in the primary! Bad news!

- Alaska - the National Republican Senate Campaign Committee (read incumbent retention committee) is flying their chief legal counsel up to Alaska to 'provide guidance' to Lisa Murkowski - who appears to be losing the primary to outsider, Palin and Tea Party endorsed Joe Miller.

- Arizona - after getting whupped by 24 points, JD (just dumb) Hayworth is refusing to congratulate or endorse Johnny Mac.

None of this bodes well. I thought the RNC learned it's lesson last fall -- it's not nice (or wise) to flaunt the conservative wing of their party or the conservative independents in this country --

Ahh well!! "Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?" Again?

MSNBC Swears to Allah that Obama's Not a Muslim

MSNBC's Monday programming was dedicated to denouncing Sen. Mitch McConnell's response to a question about whether Obama is a Muslim.

McConnell said: "We all have to rely on the word of (Barack Obama) -- something about as reliable as a credit default swap."

No, I'm sorry, that's what The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan said about whether Trig Palin was really Sarah Palin's child.

McConnell responded by demanding that Obama be fired -- or at least have his security clearance suspended.

No, no -- wrong again: That was Sen. John Kerry and Sen. Chuck Schumer, respectively, not taking Karl Rove at his word when he said he had not released Valerie Plame's name to the press. (It turned out Rove was telling the truth; it was Richard Armitage, and it wasn't a crime.)

What McConnell actually said in response to the Muslim question was: "The president says he's a Christian. I take him at his word. I don't think that's in dispute."

Over at MSNBC, that's Republican code for: "He's a Muslim!"

North Korean TV's Ed Schultz hysterically babbled: "McConnell gave cover. That's what he did. He gave cover to all those low information voters out there who still believe this garbage about President Obama being a Muslim. ... The Republican leadership just loves to feed the fire."

Chris Matthews was so impressed with Schultz's nonsensical argument that he spent the entire hour on NKTV's "Hardball" making the same one: McConnell had expressed insufficient fervor when he said he believed Obama was a Christian! (Perhaps if McConnell had added something about a thrill running up his leg ...)

The statement "I take him at his word," Matthews said, was a "pitch-perfect dog whistle to the haters." He continued: "Yes, sure, whatever he says. Right. This is not about belief. It's an accusation that President Obama is not one of us. The right wing's attempt to de-Americanize the president."

What else is there besides Obama's word? If Obama suddenly announced that he was a Muslim -- or a Buddhist -- what evidence would Matthews cite to prove him wrong?

Meanwhile, liberals absolutely refuse to take Republicans at their word when they identify their own children. Or deny leaking a low-level CIA functionary's name to the press.

Or when they deny they are racists.

Indeed, Matthews' guest, Howard Fineman of Newsweek, accused the entire state of Kentucky of bigotry to explain McConnell's "crafted" words.

Kentucky, Fineman said, is "a state where the nativist appeal outside of Louisville really works big-time." The Republicans, he said, are "going to use whatever fear message they can. It's aimed at Kentucky, for sure."

I believe the Bluegrass state has just been called "nativist" without any evidence at all! Was Kentucky's father a nativist? Was it educated in a nativist madrassa as a child? Did Kentucky just endorse the idea of a nativist cultural center at Ground Zero?

On the following night's "Hardball," Tuesday, Matthews and his guest, The Chicago Tribune's Clarence Page, refused to take Glenn Beck at his word when he said that he picked the day for his Lincoln Memorial rally without realizing it was the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. (Everybody knows the 47th anniversary is the big one!)

Accusations of racism apparently do not require the ironclad proof demanded for accusations that someone is a Muslim.

And there's a lot more evidence that Obama's a Muslim than Republicans are racists. Let's compare:

Evidence for the Proposition That Obama's a Muslim: His father was a Muslim; his mother, an atheist, married two Muslims; he attended a Muslim school in Indonesia from age 6 to 10; and, during the campaign, he proudly posted on his webpage his statement that America is "no longer" a Christian nation, a statement he has repeated as president, while announcing on French TV that America is "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world."

Evidence for the Proposition That Republicans Are Racist: (Nothing so far.)

Evidence for the Proposition That Liberals Lie About Republicans Being Racist: Video of a supporter of Rand Paul's opponent pretending to be a racist Paul supporter; Oregon public school teacher Jason Levin caught operating a website asking liberals to show up at Tea Parties pretending to be right-wing racists; The New York Times' Maureen Dowd claiming she heard Rep. Joe Wilson shout, "You lie, boy!" when he shouted "You lie!" during Obama's speech to a joint session of Congress; and the mainstream media lying about civil rights hero John Lewis being called the N-word 15 times at an anti-ObamaCare protest, with no one ever being able to produce a videotape, despite a $100,000 reward.

If Republicans played by liberal rules, they'd just call Obama a racist, who leaked Valerie Plame's name to the press, is not Sasha's father, and smokes Newports, not Kools.

Why Do Feminists Attack Sarah and Not Sharia?

Given Islam’s enslavement of women and the Sharia erection of the Cordoba Initiative’s chief con man, Abdul Rauf, you’d think N.O.W. and their ilk would now be raising more Cain about this Ground Zero Mosque than they are about Sarah Palin.

Why should one think this? Well, it’s principally because Sharia kind of sha-whizzes on hard-won women’s rights, that’s sha-why. Duh. Yet we’re not hearing a whole heck of a lot from the fiery feminists regarding this Ground Zero affront and what it could entail for the girls among us. Yep, we’re hearing crickets from the virulent vixens of the lovely Left who vie for women’s rights.

And Hollywood, where are the bra burners of Tinseltown? I figured they’d be on this topic of Muslim mama oppression like Clinton on a chunky intern, but alas … nada. Why the silence, pussycats? Does it not jive with your agenda? Y’know, the fact that some rapscallion like Rauf can actually table support for Sharia law and then go balls-to-the-wall with building a Mosque within spitting distance from where we were attacked on 9/11, and then you—the supposed champions of chicks everywhere—do not go Twisted Sister over this bloody BS is both odd and revealing.

Nope, the fems’ fixation remains on Palin. Palin is the threat. Palin is the She Devil. Palin is the one who gets the nasty jabs—and not Islam and the potential spread of Sharia from sea to shining sea.

I know what you fembots are thinking: Sharia can’t happen here, right? Cha? Yes, we’d never allow Muslims to take us back to Bedrock legislatively. And I’m equally sure that’s what our snaggle-toothed feminist cousins in the UK thought right up until September 2008.

Facts be damned, however. For the feminists, the menacing foe they have to stave off remains Sarah and not Sharia.

Last time I checked, liberal lassies, Mrs. Palin does not believe that …

- Women are inferior to men.

- Women should have fewer rights and responsibilities than Larry the Cable Guy.

- Women count for one-half of a dude in giving evidence in a court of law.

- Women should be horse whipped if they ever make their husband feel like a dork.

- Victoria’s Secret Miraculous Bra (with extreme level 5 cleavage) makes God angry.

- Women can’t say squat in regard to whom they’ll marry, what they’ll wear, where they’ll live, or whether or not they can divorce their cheating and/or abusive husband.

- Girls can be wed beginning at the ripe old age of frickin’ nine.

- Women should be cool with hubby having a couple of hoochies or female slaves on the side.

- Women, on the pretext of “honor,” should be locked up, isolated and unable to have a girls’ night out at Mango’s on Ocean Drive.

Yep, last time I checked, Miss Sarah ain’t down with the above, but you know who is? I’ll tell you (because your lack of Ground Zero Mosque angst is auguring for the return to the cave man era): the Crapslinger Extraordinaire, Ground Zero’s grand zero, male chauvinist Imam Abtool Rauf. He likey Sharia.

So, my question is this: From an equal rights standpoint, why in God’s name do you, the Liberal ladies who are supposedly so earnest for fair treatment for the fairer sex, go after Palin and not the women’s rights-refusing Imams who think Sharia is the shizznah?

Every fall for the last forty years,

But Ole' Pecozbill's problem is simply this --- Do you reckon that our Dear Leader really believes that we are so durned stupid that we believe our years of Social Security payments are safely and prudently 'invested'? Surely not. For every citizen in this country knows that Social Security vault is plumb empty, 'cept for a truck load of IOU's from the Gob'mint itself!!

Hell, there ain't no money to invest.... the $14 TRILLION DOLLARS that the Gob'mint owes Social Security is just a small part of those $110 TRILLION DOLLARS of UNFUNDED LIABILITIES the Gob'mint carries on the books...

And if I am proven wrong -- and Obamation is this stupid -- I hope to hell that General Petraeus has the pride and fortitude to decide it's time to hang up his combat boots and come home! Press Secretary Robert (if his lips are moving he's lying) Gibbs, artfully said at his daily press conference that the Administration would take no stand on the right or wrongness of building a fifteen story Muslim mosque overlooking Ground Zero in New York city.. 'It's a local matter." Good answer!

But then on Friday night, at a White House dinner celebrating the beginning of Ramadan, his Boss opined that it should be allowed!!!!!! (I'm not even gonna mention that the Host of the Ramadan dinner is the same POTUS that took a pass on National Prayer Day recently,)

But with those short few words, the Dear Leader has batted the ball into the court of 435 GOP congressional candidates and 37 Senatorial candidates across the country! Now each of them may ask their Dim Dem opponent if he/she/it agrees with their President. Until last Friday night, each of the Dim Dems could have sidestepped and said it was a local issue! But not now. Their leader has spoken and it certainly is reasonable to ask a candidate if he agrees or disagrees with his party's leader. Yes or No? Up or Down?

With soaring opposition across the fruited plains to this monstrous 'Cordoba House' bit of Muslim deviltry -- it will be interesting to hear the answer --- I hope the press and the GOP candidates ask the question. "Do you agree with President Obama's position on the Mosque?"

As Helen (The Lebanese Jew Baiter) Thompson, used to say at the end of a press conference -- "Thank you Mr President"

Time for some serious 'SUNSET' laws...

Just in case y'all aren't familiar with the term 'Sunset Law' as it pertains to gob'mints: When a law, or a regulation, or a department or agency is established for a finite time, upon which time it must be re-evaluated and it's continuance justified, or it will be nullified, negated, or shut down - it is called, 'Sunsetting'. That's not the legal term but it'll do for this little entry.

Apparently the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, has come to that juncture where Sunsetting the whole shooting match is due!!

In a recent notice, the EEOC has now placed arrested and convicted folks into one of their 'protected' minorities..

Pre-Employment Inquiries and Arrest & Conviction

There is no Federal law that clearly prohibits an employer from asking about arrest and conviction records. However, using such records as an absolute measure to prevent an individual from being hired could limit the employment opportunities of some protected groups and thus cannot be used in this way.

Since an arrest alone does not necessarily mean that an applicant has committed a crime the employer should not assume that the applicant committed the offense. Instead, the employer should allow him or her the opportunity to explain the circumstances of the arrest(s) and should make a reasonable effort to determine whether the explanation is reliable.

Even if the employer believes that the applicant did engage in the conduct for which he or she was arrested that information should prevent him or her from employment only to the extent that it is evident that the applicant cannot be trusted to perform the duties of the position when

• considering the nature of the job,
• the nature and seriousness of the offense,
• and the length of time since it occurred.

This is also true for a conviction.

Did you note that bottom line.........'THIS IS ALSO TRUE FOR A CONVICTION"

So Mr Employer, you are on notice that if you should consider arrests or even convictions of employee applicants ---- the EEOC will take the applicants case and come after you. Even if you win, you lose -- time, attorney fees, and expenses!!!

I reckon the EEOC has just run out of things to do, so they have widened their own playing field! Sure hope that Sun starts going down soon.. And I ain't even got to the EPA and their CO2 rulings yet!!!!!

Now in 435 Congressional races, and 37 Senatorial races === over the next two months the reporters, pundits and conservative opponents can look each Dim Dem in they eye and ask, "Do you agree with your president's position in support of the Muslim Mosque at Ground Zero?"

Seems like a simple question - a simple 'Yes or No' will suffice. Before their Dear Leader spoke, they could have bobbed and weaved past it with a 'it's a local decision' like Press Secretary Gibbs did......... but now The One has knocked the ball right into the middle of the court!!!!

Here is a story from the German newspapers... reads like a soap opera - including the twist at the end....

Paid to do it, but fails to make his friend's wife pregnant after 72 attempts.

In Stuttgart, Germany, a court judge must decide on a case of honorable intentions in a situation where a man hired his neighbor to get his wife pregnant.

It seems that Demetrius Soupolos, 29, and his former beauty queen wife, Traute, wanted a child badly, but Demetrius was told by a doctor that he was sterile.

So, Soupolos, after calming his wife’s protests, hired his neighbor, Frank Maus, 34, to impregnate her. Since Maus was already married and the father of two children, plus looked very much like Soupolos to boot, the plan seemed good.

Soupolos paid Maus $2,500 for the job and for three evenings a week for the next six months, Maus tried desperately, a total of 72 different times, to impregnate Traute.

When his own wife objected, he explained, "I don’t like this any more than you. I’m simply doing it for the money. Try and understand."

When Traute failed to get pregnant after six months, however, Soupolos was not understanding and insisted that Maus have a medical examination, which he did.

The doctor’s announcement that Maus was also sterile shocked everyone except his wife, who was forced to confess that Maus was not the real father of their two children.

Now Soupolos is suing Maus for breach of contract in an effort to get his money back, but Maus refuses to give it up because he said he did not guarantee conception, but only that he would give an honest effort.

I came across this great little blurb (link below) this morning and thought I would pass it along. The timing of it's publication is coincidental I am sure - but coming on the heels of the Jet Blue altercation between the pushy broad hitting the flight attendant with her suitcase - it is particularly timely.

Maybe instead of the normal instructions about the exits, Flight Attendants should read this article to the grumpy passengers in their crowded by air conditioned seats during the taxiing run to the take off slot!

Dumbest question of the year award......

Well, dumbest rhetorical question of the year anyway. WTOP's headline asks the question:

"Are Federal Workers Overpaid?"

and then points out in the articles first two paragraphs that the average wage-benefits package for federal employees is $123,049 per year. And the average wage-benefits package for workers in the private area averaged $61,051 in total compensation.

I thought the answer was a little obvious -- but then Gob'mint union officials pointed out that "the gap reflects the growing skills and education needed for most federal jobs, while the gob'mint farms out lower paid jobs to the private sector...!!

Chomp on that for a minute.... I'll link you to the article - but I've pretty well summarized it!

Mr & Mrs America (making $61K) are paying for fed workers who average twice their pay!!

HATCH INTRODUCES BILL TO REDUCE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES TO 2009 LEVELS

WASHINGTON –Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) introduced legislation today aimed at cutting the bloated federal government down to size. The Reduce and Cap the Federal Workforce Act would reduce and limit the number of civilian federal workers to February 2009 levels. “If we are to get our deficit under control, we need to rein in the runaway growth of our federal government,” Hatch said. “Simply put, the federal government is growing at breakneck speed and it is time to apply the brakes before it bankrupts the nation and the taxpayers. My bill is a commonsense approach to putting a halt to big government.” Hatch said the numbers show why his legislation is needed. From 1981 through 2008, the senator noted, civilian workers numbered between 1.1 million and 1.2 million. The Obama administration is forecasting the government’s workforce this year will reach 2.15 million and serve 310 million Americans. “That is almost a fifty percent increase since 2008,” Hatch said. "In 1974, former President Gerald Ford said: ‘A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have.’ Today, we have an administration t hat seems hell bent on doing just that. That is unacceptable.” If I was to get into a Pool on the odds of success for this Bill, I reckon I'd want the box that says it 'Doesn't get to the Committee Level'.... The Dear Leader, Obamation hisself.... called in some brothers, NBA all stars, to shoot some hoops with him over the weekend... His story - or Gibbs story - of some PR flack's story is they were 'entertaining some 'wounded warriors --troops wounded in action--- plus some suck-ups in the White House mentoring program'....

Let's see now -- you are a wounded warrior, returning home with Godawful wounds from a war that your POTUS voted to hinder as well as dodge his own self, --- and you are supposed to be entertained by watching him and some of his selected (and otherwise military dodging millionaire brothers) friends 'shoot some hoops'!

I wonder if these troops were wheeled in for photo ops, to make the One feel good or what??

I also wonder how many of our disable Veterans were wheeled in - despite their protestations? Meanwhile the Narcissist in charge - was 'aiding the cause'..... I wonder if these Wounded Vets were screened for weapons before they were allowed into the gymnasium to view this Obamanation? No I don't, I know they were!!

British Engineers create 'Poopmobile'!!

Yessir, that famous British Engineer, Mohammed Saddiq, has developed a converted Volkswagen Bug that runs on human excrement (well, the methane gases that poop creates I reckon) and is offering it as a viable alternative to electric vehicles.

Aww shucks, and Obamanation just spent Billion$ of our tax dollar$ developing the Chevy Volt - which has a range of 40 miles. Just about enough to get from the ranch house to the outhouse and back.

Anyhow, this new Poopmobile (link to story) have given me an idea! If this car is designed to run on methane gas...... hmmmm lets see now, our capitol building in Washington has a dome, most State Legislative Houses have domes.... Why leave it up to the Brits. Why doesn't some brilliant American scientist, Abdulla Ben Farouk or someone, design a giant vacuum cleaner type machine that sucks all of the gases and methane that accumulates in all of those capitol domes across the country -- bottle it and sell it to run methane driven cars in these here United States.

If the combined poop of just 70 British residences will run a car for 10,000 miles -- Lord only knows how much mileage we could get out of those gas filled legislative domes!!

By now, y'all have heard that the representatives....

...... of 7000 ICE agents and employees have signed a 'No Confidence' vote in their appointed leader. You have also heard his disclaimer - 'It just comes with the job'.

But in our discussions about the flood of illegal immigration along our Southern Border, Arizona Laws, Dimocrat Fed Judges and all......... I think the following couple of short paragraphs from the Washington Examiner deserve our attention:

Kind of puts the Arizona illegal immigration enforcement in perspective, doesn’t it?

While ICE reports internally that more than 90 percent of ICE detainees are first encountered in jails after they are arrested by local police for criminal charges, ICE senior leadership misrepresents this information publicly in order to portray ICE detainees as being non-criminal in nature to support the Administration’s position on amnesty and relaxed security at ICE detention facilities.

The majority of ICE ERO Officers are prohibited from making street arrests or enforcing United States immigration laws outside of the institutional (jail) setting. This has effectively created “amnesty through policy” for anyone illegally in the United States who has not been arrested by another agency for a criminal violation.

Yet in a sick deal with the Obama administration, Griffith shatters his credibility, promising all roses with a health-care law that even Barney Fife could tell you is a disaster in the making.

Appearing on GMA this morning with DNC spokesman, George Snuffflopolis, Timmy Geithner allowed as how it's a tough economy, and it's possible that unemployment rate will go up for a couple of months before it comes down..... Let's see now - Midterm elections are when? Oh yeah, in a couple of months! So voters, pay no attention to those rising unemployment numbers -- they mean nothing and will start going down as soon as you've gone to the polls...... Shucks, Pilgrims, he must think there are 300 million Charlie Browns (he who let Lucy snatch the football away every fall) out here in the country!!! 4. Sitting Dem President flies to Atlanta, Georgia Dem leaders run for the hills to hide...

5. Dem Congressmen accuse Dem Congressmen of racism.....

6. Obamation blames "W" for everything, but takes credit for win in Iraq. (he voted against the surge as I recall)

7. Palin opines that 'B0' lacks cajones...... Jessie Jackson succeeded?

Why go on...... it just gets curiouser and curiouser!!

National Education Association (NEA) ...

...more commonly recognized by it's real name, 'National Teachers Union', has really started grasping to ensure they maintain the firm grip they have today on America's education dollars.

I am gonna link you good folks to an NEA memo to all of it's 'Association Representatives' AKA (in their words) 'Shop Stewards'. In the memo, they recommend purchase, reading and implementing "Rules for Radicals" as authored by none other than the late great SAUL ALINSKY.... Instead of late, great, maybe I should have said 'dead, red and infamous' Saul Alinsky.

I know y'all are familiar with this rabble rouser's works, but check the link and as you are reading it, remember that this recommendation is coming from the union headquarters of the teachers that stand in front of your children every day.............
