I was gonna title this "Obama-Logic', but........
....that would be a ginormous oxymoron!! Instead, I'll just call it -- one more whack at the American jobs and economy tree by Obamanation.....
It seems that a firm, Bucyrus Int, of MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN, with over a thousand local employees has just been cut off at the knees in their bid to build a coal fired generating plant in India. Because Obamanation doesn't like coal fired plants, his administration cut off Export-Import bank money for the project..
I reckon BO's logic is -- better to let a Chinese or Russian company build a real pollutin' kind of coal burning generator than to let an American Company build a clean one! That'll show the Greenies that he loves 'em!
"Democrats like Obama keep talking about eeeeeevil corporations that export jobs overseas to save costs rather than keep them in the US. Well, Obama and his Congress just sent 1,000 jobs overseas — jobs Americans lost, and jobs that either Russian or Chinese workers will get instead. And instead of bankrupting this new coal plant, they just made it dirtier. Good job!"

Yesterday was Saturday......
And I didn't have much to do, so when I saw a Toyota ad in the paper, I stopped by the Toyota Dealership for a look at the new
Tacoma. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new "feel" before they become extinct...
The salesman (wearing an Obama "change" lapel pin) sat in the passenger seat describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options.
The seats were of particular interest. He explained that the seats
directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat.
Feeling like messing with his mind, I mentioned that this must be a Republican truck.
Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Republican truck.
I explained that if it were a Democrat truck, the seats would blow smoke up your butt year-round.
I had to walk back to the dealership........Pilgrim had no sense of humor!!

There must be something wrong with my Monitor -- I swear that it says that Obamanation is replacing McChrystal with Patraeus.....
But this is the same man protrayed as General "Betrayus' by BO and his cabal of thugs just three years ago -- the same General Patraeus that....
.....that now Secretary of State (then Senator) said in Senate hearings, "The reports that you provide to us really require the willing suspension of disbelief."
The same General Patraeus about whom Senate Majority Leader Dingy Harry said: "He's made a number of statements over the years that have not proven to be factual."
This must be some other guy..................!!! I mean, after all, we are dealing with people of high integrity and fine moral character here.......!!!

Once again putting the livelihood of thousands in jeopardy and limbo...

"President Barack Obama Parkway"?
I have always thought that no public highway, building, monument or whatever, should be named after a politician until he has been dead for at least ten years....
That policy not only saves current political pressures - (witness every federal building in W Va. named after Senator Byrd) but allows sufficient time to evaluate the true worth of the honoreee...
Thus, I was disappointed to hear that Orlando has just named a new highway after BO with 2½ years to even serve his first term..
I became a little less concerned though, when I researched and found out that 'President Barack Obama Parkway' is only 800 feet long and is a dead end.....
Maybe someone on the Orlando city council has a sense of humor!!!

Nothing new under the sun???

A Federal Judge up in New York, recently ruled that the citizens of Port Chester NY, could each vote six times in their local elections. Yep, six times.
Apparently he felt that the Hispanics weren't being represented on the City Council, so instead of dividing the town up into six districts, for the six council seats, 'district' voting - as we have all seen across the Country, mostly the South, he decided that each voter would get six votes!!
That's right, a voter could cast one vote each for six candidates, two votes each for three or even six votes for one candidate...... Yup, you read that right --- forget all that 'One man - one vote" falderal that you've heard all your life -- It's now one man - six votes in Port Chester NY.
I ain't even gonna comment on the right or wrong of the process.......... my question is, "Why hasn't this Federal Judge, who swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, been impeached yet?" Where is the hollerin'?
Is there no law in this country anymore?

That has such a nice ring to it, donch'a think? Tomorrow nite, your TOTUS will be giving yet another made for TV speech, using the crisis of the gulf spill as a background, to push for the passage of this act (introduced by those leading energy experts, Kerry & Lieberman) in a rush this year..
This is little more than a rebranded, "Cap & Trade" (Cap & Tax) bill which will raise the electricity and other rates for every American...... yup, even those who make less that the evil $250K that BO likes to besmirch!! Folks just don't realize, it ain't just their electric bill going up, but so it is for the ACME widget company and Dynasty Corn and Hog company.... guess what happens to the prices of widgets and pork bellies?
I won't waste one of the hours I have left on earth to watch this pompous puppet, but I will be looking for the appropriate sound bites.....

Two hot stories regarding youngsters this week ---
#1- US Border guard fired at a group of Mexicans hurling rocks at them from across the border and hit one one of the throwers, a 14 year old, who died from the wound.
#2- Taliban publicly hanged a seven year old boy, accusing him of being a spy for Prime Minister Karzai.
Question: One of these two stories made headlines in all major papers and news outlets... the other was picked up only by the NY Daily News and the blogosphere.

-April - America is suffering a (minimum) 10% unemployment rate - with no end in sight.-Deepwater Horizon blows a cork, resultant oil spill destroys gulf fishing, tourist, and related industries - instantly putting tens of thousands out of work -- and thousands more of those who make a living servicing them.....
- May - White House, in knee jerk fashion, bans all off shore drilling everywhere until whenever the appropriate committees have decided whatever committees decide in whatever time they take...
- June - Tens of thousands of oil rig workers, land support crews, and the thousands that make their living servicing them are instantly out of work.....
Net results - hundreds of Blue Ribbon Committee members and their lackeys find highly paid work inside the Beltway ---- --- while hundreds of THOUSANDS of Americans outside the Beltway are added to the unemployment rolls. Mortgages default, cars repossessed, college dropouts, and other ancillary effects cause even further degradation of the economy.
Only in America!!!

A former Marine stuns a Tea Party crowd last Friday in Georgia...
There was a Tea Party in Douglas County, Georgia on Friday. The main speaker was the wonderful Herman Cain.
During a Q & A, a man named Lewis, who said he’s a former Marine, expressed concern that people always hear the first verse of the Star Spangled Banner, but not the rest of the song. So, out of nowhere, he lit into one of the lesser known verses.
He’s actually singing the 4th verse instead of the 2nd, but I thought this was a helluva nice job and very moving — and the crowd obviously did too.Now this is an American Idol!!

True colors (and a little back stabbing) show up in Florida senate race,
With Dem party nominee Kendrick Meek trailing in the polls, BO's recent Senior Advisor Anita Dunn and her company of Democratic political strategy and communications firm, SKDKnickerbocker --- have abandoned Meek and signed on with Charlie Crist, former Republican and all of a sudden, Independent in his race for the Florida Senate seat.
While some Democrats deny that the 'White House' okayed this action - it was pointed out that the SKDK firm wouldn't have signed on with Crist "unless it was okay at the highest levels"
One can only hope that BO's dropping of support for the Black, Rep Meek, and backing Christ -- will help Crist every bit as much as it helped Specter, Corzine and the other losers of recent elections.... One can only hope.

I heard a number thrown out on a radio talk show yesterday: "Two thousand Americans are killed EACH YEAR by illegal aliens." That would be the equivalent of another 9-11 massacre every 18 months....... but nobody shouts! Or flys flags.... Or laments....
The number seemed a little high, so I did some Googling, and from a mental averaging of many sites, some serious - some rabid, I think the two thousand number is on the lower end of the guesstimate! About half of the American deaths are caused by illegal drunk drivers and accidents, the other half by guns, knives and mayhem!!
These numbers of American deaths each year would tower over our losses in Iraq & Afghanistan...... tower over the 9-11, or Oklahoma bombing deaths. But because they are 'local' and come in drip drip drip fashion nobody pays attention.
The most common number I read on the Internet starts at 12 per day--- over 4,000 dead Americans per year because the Federal Government won't, doesn't close and control our borders.....
Am I missing something here? Where is the outcry?
