Ramirez hit's the 'heart' of it......

(see also, comments two items below)

I can't make this stuff up...........

Suppose there was a High School teacher to whom a 15 year old boy reported that he had been accosted by a man in a bus station Men's Room, and taken to his home for sex.

Suppose instead of reporting the incident, the teacher encouraged it, and told the student to be sure he 'used a condom' when he was with the older man.

Suppose, the teacher later related the story in a talk to a local chapter of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, which as an OUT homosexual, HE FOUNDED NATIONALLY, and then shared it again in a book he wrote in 1994, "One Teacher in 10".

Now then, suppose you were the POTUS and were going to appoint a 'SAFE SCHOOLS CZAR'.... how far down the list of a million eligibles would this character be...? what's that you say --He wouldn't even be on the list!! Guess again....

Meet Kevin Jennings, currently serving in the White House as 'Safe Schools Czar'!!!!!

When you pick your jaw back up off your keyboard, read the rest of the story here:

My America....... (out of step??)

Looking at the world political scene, I am reminded of the story of the mother of the little boy, who wondered why the other 79 boys in his marching group were out of step,=..... As an American patriot, I wonder how we always manage to stay out of step with the rest of the free world.

With the exception of the Reagan- Thatcher years, we always seem to be at odds - when our country goes left, they go right and vice versa. We elect Bush, they elect Brown and Mitterrand.

Now we have gone totally left (for at least 3 years and two more months) --- and --- guess what.... even the NY Times (yes!!! the Gray Lady) sees the swing to the right in Europe. Hell in England, the long leading Labour Party is now a distant 3rd in the polls...... go figure --

Empire State Building turns red-yellow for China's 60th

(AFP) – 16 hours ago

NEW YORK — New York's iconic Empire State Building will light up red and yellow Wednesday in honor of the 60th anniversary of communist China.

The Chinese consul, Peng Keyu, and other officials will take part in the lighting ceremony which will bathe the skyscraper in the colors of the People's Republic until Thursday, Empire State Building representatives said in a statement.

The upper sections of the building are regularly illuminated to mark special occasions, ranging from all blue to mark "Old Blue Eyes" Frank Sinatra's death in 1998 to green for the annual Saint Patrick's Day.

Interesting Column in the London Telegraph today...

I won't add to it, just let y'all read it:

Obama in the British Media
Here is an interesting editorial from someone outside our country as to what is going on!
[]Barak Obama and the CIA: Why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?
If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter .
Obama's problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail.
That is why he opened Pandora's Box by publishing the Justice Department's legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley , Virginia to try to reassure a demoralized CIA that had just discovered the President of the United States was an even more formidable foe than al-Qaeda.
"Don't be discouraged by what's happened the last few weeks," he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them - or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed.
So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers.
President Pantywaist's recent world tour, cozying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America ?s enemies. Here, they realized, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners.
His only enemies are fellow Americans.
Which prompts the question: Why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?

$20 MIllion Defense Dollars for Kennedy Memorial??? Huh???

A great post on the TownHall blog this morning -- it speaks for itself!!

Senate Plans Billions in Earmarks, Including $20M for Ted Kennedy Memorial
Posted by: Meredith Jessup at 7:22 AM
A big military spending bill making its way through Congress is (rightfully) drawing fire from fiscal conservatives... like myself. The bill includes an earmark submitted by Sen. John Kerry (D-Ma.) that has absolutely nothing to do with national defense: $20 million for an "educational institute" honoring late Senator Ted Kennedy.
The earmark...requires US taxpayers to help the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate realize its goal of building a repository for Kennedy’s papers and an accompanying civic learning center on the University of Massachusetts at Boston campus in Dorchester, next to the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum.
It's bad enough that a politician would ask taxpayers to pay millions for an unnecessary project--let alone one the late Senator's own family could easily afford--but why does this money have to come out of the Defense Department's budget?

This "educational institute" isn't even so much a place for learning as it is enshrining Kennedy:
The institute will serve as a focal point for the late Massachusetts senator’s legacy, much as presidential libraries do. It will house Kennedy’s official papers and oral histories from the nearly half-century he served in the Senate.
I might not agree with it, but I will admit: it's hard to imagine a more fitting way to honor Senator Kennedy's career than squandering millions in taxpayer money.

Think that's bad? According to the Washington Examiner, the Kerry earmark is FAR from being the only one. In total, there are "778 earmarks totaling more than $2.65 billion" being included in the defense bill from members of BOTH parties.

Are we fed-up yet, America? Do you suppose "no earmarks" Obama will veto this monstrosity? Yeah, I don't think so either.

When PM Netenyahu asked the UN Assembly, "Have you no shame?" the other day. Glad he didn't pose that question to our Congress, or he'da got a a STANDING NO answer!!!

The difference ' twixt a Conservative & a Liberal

Had an e-mail this afternoon from an old Military Bud in Maryland ---- makes sense to me!

If a conservative doesn't like guns, they don't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, then no one should have one.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, they don't eat meat. If a liberal is, they want to ban all meat products for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, they quietly enjoy their life. If a liberal is homosexual, they loudly demand legislated respect.
If a black man or Hispanic is conservative, they see themselves as capable of independent success. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A liberal wants any mention of God or religion silenced.
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that his neighbors pay for his.

Sure sounds familiar to me -- how about y'all??

Thanx and a tip o' the stetson to Al, USAF Ret, of Maryland....

The POTUS did US proud?

Time was, when tin pot dictators from all over the world would come and bad mouth the United States of America in speech after speech in the U.N. Building (which we built for them).

Apparently, they can now save the time, money and effort necessary for such speechifying..... With the aid of his faithful TOTUS, the POTUS has taken over the task for them........

Ain't it amazin!!

I find it plumb amazing that the 'fastest thinker in the world' our own Obamanation - who determined we need the Porkulus Bill by sundown or the Nation would crater - who demanded a Cap & Trade bill by sundown to save the world - who now wants a national health care bill by sundown or millions will die every day --

Yeah, that guy, has now been told by his own hand picked general in Afghanistan, "Send more troops now or we lose!" - and has decided that he needs to study the request, seek counsel from his advisers --- and he'll get back to the General....

Wheee Doggies -- what a sideshow - be plumb funny if it warn't so damned serious!!! Especially for those troops put in harm's way and having one arm tied behind their back by this same president who set the impossibly strict 'rules of engagement'!

ACORN threatens to sue FOX news over tapes and remarks

My My, how this little ACORN story has grown into a spreading oak this past year......

I read this morning that ACORN is talking about of suing FOX News for broadcasting the Pimp tapes and making untruthful, libelous and disparaging remarks about the group! Why do I suspect that the FOX producers and stockholders are drooling at the prospect!

Imagine Fox News Corporation having complete and absolute access to every record, (ACORN & ALL of their related organizations and politicians) e-mails, memos in the trial discovery process.... EXCLUSIVELY! And then have all the key ACORN folks on the stand under oath...... talk about a producers wet dream come to life!!! Ratings to die for!!

In 'W's words --- "Bring it on!!"
Let's see now, their parent company 'News Corporation' has annual revenues of $30 BILLION plus to play with in their defense --- their NASDAQ symbol is 'NWSA', y'all will have to get behind me to buy some stock (currently $12.08) the day the lawsuit is filed and announced!

Betsy Ross, my kind of gal.....

This young lady, with her absolutely non-partisan sign... at the 9-12 Tea Party Rally in Washington DC, with the million other folks the main stream media didn't notice.... is my idea of a true patriot!!

Not mean, not partisan, and with a whole lot of work in that costume -- she spoke for millions of us -- without saying a word!!

God Bless you, young lady!!!

It's a shame that Obamanations (him & her) turned their heads to make sure they didn't hear the message from all of you (and us)!!!

(Thanx & a tip o'the Stetson to my ole' AF bud Paul from RI for sharing the pic!)

Tired of Health Care Talk???

So am I, but on this Obamathon Sunday, I feel almost obligated to balance the discussion with the name of Dontae Adams.

Now that 'O' has given Michelle a flag to carry in this battle 'for the little people', folks are going back to take another look at her role at the Chicago Medical Center just two years ago when she helped design the (ill named) "Urban Health Initiative". A plan to outsource low-income patients to other hospitals and save CMC the expense of providing health care to these poorer folks who might take up beds from the wealthy ones.

"Outsource", of course being a codeword for 'dump on other hospitals and emergency care givers!!

It was so devious, and in your face, considering CDC was enjoying tax free status and tax breaks for providing charity care......

The stuff hit the fan when the case of Dontae Adams hit the headlines.....
"In February 2009, outrage in the Obamas’ community exploded after a young boy covered by Medicaid was turned away from the University of Chicago Medical Center in August, 2008. Dontae Adams’ mother, Angela, had sought emergency treatment for him after a pit bull tore off his upper lip. Mrs. Obama’s hospital gave the boy a tetanus shot, antibiotics, and Tylenol and shoved him out the door. The mother and son took an hour-long bus ride to another hospital for surgery."

Oh, and by the way, back when the CDC ran into publicity problems, Mrs O referred them to some spin doctor feller named David Axelrod to help 'rebrand' the program...... She was working hand in hand with some gal named Valarie Jarrett at the time.

I won't steer you Pilgrims, just Google, 'Dontae Adams' for yourself. and as an aside, remember some of this was during the same general period that her husband was an Illinois state senator and although he voted 'present' most of the time, he manage to vote for 'shelving' babies that survived aborting, until they died a 'natural' death. Apparently, it was important enough -- to do more that vote 'present'!

Our health care is in good hands????????? Be afwaid, vewy vewy afwaid!!!

Question for a Friday... about wall-to-wall Obamathon Sunday

Obamanation is going to appear on five talk shows Sunday, selling his Obamacare snake oil to the masses I reckon. An old Air Force Vet buddy from Rhode Island, (you know, one of them dangerous malcontents that our Homeland Security Secy warns about) said it very succinctly when he opined that it will be:

"A wall to wall TV Obamathon - featuring the Fourth Estate as the new Fifth Column!"

In case you should dodge all these softball fests, tune into David (the mental dwarf) Letterman's show Monday nite for his regularly scheduled suck-up with the 'O' man.

I scratch my head and wonder why this leader of the free world. who says that he will sit down and talk with any leader in the world, good or evil, will NOT sit down and be interviewed on Fox News TV..... by Chris Wallace, Brit Hume or anybody else....

Just wonderin'.......

(thanks and a tip o'the Stetson to Paul up in Rhode Island)

Liberal Lies on National Health Care: Joe Wilson Edition!
Ann Coulter
Wednesday, September 16, 2009

I'm trying to get to the next installment of my Pulitzer Prize-deserving series on liberal lies about national health care, but apparently liberals have decided to torture us by neurotically fixating on one lie.

After President Barack Obama gave a speech to a joint session of Congress last week passionately defending his national health care plan, the Democrats were agog at the brilliance of the speech. Nancy Pelosi was so thrilled, her expression almost changed.

But as Obama ticked off one demonstrably false claim after another -- eliciting 37 standing ovations from the Democrats in the audience -- America's greatest living statesman, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., yelled out, "You lie!" in response to Obama's claim that the bill will not cover illegal aliens.

There are a number of theories about why America's greatest living statesman shouted "You lie!" at that juncture, but mine is that Wilson said it because Obama told a big, fat stinking lie.

Every single American knows it's a lie. But liberals take pleasure in repeating it -- and then condescendingly accusing anyone who doesn't accept their lie of being a toothless, illiterate racist.

Our politicians, media and courts have done everything they can to encourage illegal immigration, including obstinately refusing to enforce the border. While illegals streaming across the border generally aren't prosecuted, U.S. border patrol agents who naively try to guard the border often are.

Wise (and pregnant) Latinas dash across the border just in time to give birth at American hospitals -- medical services paid for by U.S. taxpayers -- gaining instant citizenship for their children, thereby entitling them to the entire Chinese menu of American welfare programs.

In 2004, 42.6 percent of all babies born at taxpayer expense in California were born to illegal aliens, according to a state report on Medi-Cal-funded deliveries. In hospitals close to the Mexican border, the figure is closer to 80 percent. Remember: This is before health care becomes "free" to every U.S. resident.

Hospitals across the country are going bankrupt because the federal government forces them to provide free services to illegals. This situation appears to have angered some segment of the population, in particular, American citizens who pay taxes to support the hospitals, but then are forced to spend hours writhing in pain in hospital waiting rooms.

With Americans in a boiling cauldron of rage about the government's impotent response to the tsunami of illegal immigrants, last year, both political parties ran candidates for president who favor amnesty for illegal immigrants.

And now Democrats have the audacity to tell us to our faces that national health care won't cover illegals. Not only that, but they tell us we must not be able to read if we think it does.

The crystalline example of this sneering liberal pomposity came from MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Monday night:

"Reading the House health care bill would show you that (the bill does not cover illegal aliens). But you know, sometimes reading is hard. Fortunately, in the case of the health reform bill, there is a way to get all of the information that's in it without any of that pesky reading.

"It's called HearTheBill.org. Volunteer voiceover actors have donated their time to read all 1,017 pages of the house health care reform bill, HR-3200, the America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009.

"So if you don't want to tire out your eyes, you could just listen to the thing that disproves (Rep. Wilson)."

Maddow then played an audio clip of Section 246 from the bill. This section, which liberals keep brandishing like a DNA-stained dress, states: "Nothing in this subtitle shall allow federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."

In other words, illegal aliens are excluded from precisely one section of the thousand-page, goodie-laden health care bill: Section 246, which distributes taxpayer-funded "affordability credits" to people who can't afford to pay for their own health care.

Even this minor restriction on taxpayer largesse to illegals will immediately be overturned by the courts. But the point is: Except for vouchers, the bill does not even pretend to exclude illegals from any part of national health care -- including the taxpayer-funded health insurance plan.

Moreover, liberals won't have to wait for some court to find that the words "nothing in this subtitle shall allow" means "this bill allows," because the bill contains no mechanism to ensure that the health care vouchers aren't going to illegal aliens. Nor does the bill prohibit the states from providing taxpayer-funded health care vouchers to illegals.

Democrats keep voting down Republican amendments that would insert these restrictions -- just before dashing to a TV studio to denounce anyone who says the health care bill covers illegal aliens.

It's as if we have a relative who shows up at every holiday gathering, gets bombed and totals the family car. At the 18th Christmas celebration, he's not only demanding a drink, but also calling us liars for saying he's already totaled 17 family cars. Gimme a gin and tonic and the car keys, you lying racist!

I think that's why America's greatest living statesman erupted with rage when Obama retailed this particular lie during his speech on health care.

It's bad enough to be lied to, but to be lied to by people who accuse us of not being able to read when the problem is that we can read -- and also can remember what happened at the last 17 family Christmases -- is more than even Mother Teresa could bear without a quick heckle.

One thing about our Annie.... when she pulls the trigger, we have no questions about her target!!

Color me stupid, Pilgrims, but....

.... for the life of me, I cannot fathom why the Congress have not called these 'czars' before them and asked these questions of them. They snap their fingers and auto CEO's jump on their company jets to appear and testify --- then gets insulted for flying to DC..... so where is it written that the Auto Czar or Pay Czar can't be subpoenaed to appear and testify as to his/her czarist duties and authorities....?

Czarist Washington

By Kay Bailey Hutchison
Sunday, September 13, 2009

The Framers of the Constitution knew that the document founding our democracy must be the anchor of liberty and the blueprint for its preservation. Wisely, they provided a balance of powers to ensure that no individual and no single arm of government could ever wield unchecked authority against the American people.

Nearly 250 years later, these critical lines of separation are being obscured by a new class of federal officials. A few of them have formal titles, but most are simply known as "czars." They hold unknown levels of power over broad swaths of policy. Under the Obama administration, we have an unprecedented 32 czar posts (a few of which it has yet to fill), including a "car czar," a "pay czar" and an "information czar." There are also czars assigned to some of the broadest and most consequential topics in policy, including health care, terrorism, economics and key geographic regions.

So what do these czars do? Do they advise the president? Or do they impose the administration's agenda on the heads of federal agencies and offices who have been vetted and confirmed by the Senate? Unfortunately -- and in direct contravention of the Framers' intentions -- virtually no one can say with certainty what these individuals do or what limits are placed on their authority. We don't know if they are influencing or implementing policy. We don't know if they possess philosophical views or political affiliations that are inappropriate or overreaching in the context of their work.

This is precisely the kind of ambiguity the Framers sought to prevent. Article One tasks the legislative branch with establishing federal agencies, defining what they do, determining who leads them and overseeing their operations. Article Two requires the president to seek the advice and consent of the Senate when appointing certain officials to posts of consequence. Thus, authority is shared between government branches, guaranteeing the American people transparency and accountability.

As the senior Republican on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, I oversee legislation and agencies that cover policy areas as vast and varied as trade, technology, transit, consumer protection and commercial regulation. As many as 10 of the 32 czars functionally fall under my committee's jurisdiction. Yet neither I nor the committee chairman have clear authority to compel these czars to appear before our panel and report what they are doing. The Obama administration presented only two of these officials for our consideration before they assumed their duties. We have had no opportunity to probe the others' credentials.

Recently we saw the kinds of dangerous details that can slip by when a powerful federal official isn't put through the Senate confirmation process. Before assuming the post of "green jobs czar," Van Jones had engaged in such troublesome activities as endorsement of fringe theories about the Sept. 11 attacks. He has ties to a socialist group. The Senate confirmation process would typically provide an appropriate forum for identifying and discussing these types of issues and for allowing for public input. Jones's case highlighted the lack of accountability that is becoming commonplace under the Obama administration.

While Jones rightly resigned, there are dozens of other administration czars about whom we still know very little. It is Congress's duty to know who is serving at the highest levels of government, what they are doing, and what qualifications or complications these people bring to the job. It is also our responsibility to make this information known to the people who have elected us to serve and protect them. This is how we ensure accountability.

The deployment of this many czars sets a dangerous precedent that undermines the Constitution's guarantee of separated powers. It must be stopped. President Obama should submit each of his many policy czars to the Senate so that we can review their qualifications, roles and the limits on their authority. To deliver anything less is to deny the American public the accountability and transparency the Constitution guarantees.

The writer, a Republican senator from Texas, is running for governor of that state.

First the congressman.......

And then the Non-partisan Congressional Budget Office!

Somebody be lying fer sure!!

The Emperor Has No Clothes Award

I nominate Representative Joe Wilson, (R) South Carolina, for the Emperor Has No Clothes Award for the Month.

His speech, given extemporaneously without the use of Teleprompters, gained more ink and TV air time than did the TOTUS's speech (as voiced by 'O') on health care.

It gave conservatives something to cheer about, for a change -- and gave liberals something to tsk tsk about, again!

I have no doubt that Nancy and Co. will attempt to ram through a bill this week which will make any such outbursts a "Hate Crime', punishable by being strapped down and having to listen and watch to Babs Striesland, (sans makeup and a girdle) singing "Happy Days are Here Again' every morning before the days Session opens.

What the hell is going on????

The following article appeared in Military.com yesterday. It is bad enough that we put our troops in harms way in Afghanistan with the idiotic rules about 'turning over' captured enemy terrorists after 96 hours, but the new rules of "preventing collateral damage and civilian deaths" are sheer idiocy!!

Ambushed Marines' Aid Call 'Rejected'

Ambushed Marines' Aid Call 'Rejected'

NATO-led forces are investigating the death of four Marines in eastern Afghanistan after their commanders reportedly rejected requests for artillery fire in a battle with insurgents, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

Tuesday's incident was "under investigation" and details remained unclear, press secretary Geoff Morrell told a news conference.

A McClatchy newspapers' journalist who witnessed the battle reported that a team of Marine trainers made repeated appeals for air and artillery support after being pinned down by insurgents in the village of Ganjgal in eastern Kunar province.

The U.S. troops had to wait more than an hour for attack helicopters to come to their aid and their appeal for artillery fire was rejected, with commanders citing new rules designed to avoid civilian casualties, the report said.

Morrell said the helicopters were not hampered by any restrictions on air power but had to travel a long distance to reach the Marines at the remote location near the Pakistan border.

"I think that it did take some time for close air support to arrive in this case, but this is not a result of more restrictive conditions in which it can be used," he said.

"It was the result, as is often the case in Afghanistan, of the fact that there are great distances often between bases where such assets are located and where our troops are out operating."

Morrell could not confirm whether appeals for artillery fire were denied by commanders.

According to the McClatchy report by Jonathan Landay, the U.S. advisors assisting Afghan forces had been assured before the operation that "air cover would be five minutes away."

The incident comes after the top commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal, issued new restrictions on the use of military force and air raids in a bid to prevent civilian deaths.

McChrystal has warned that civilian casualties caused by the NATO-led force risk alienating the Afghan population and jeopardizing the war effort.

But the general and other top military officials have insisted air support and fire power would not be restricted when U.S. troops were under direct threat.

Bombing runs by coalition forces have declined sharply since McChrystal took over command in June, U.S.A Today reported on Wednesday, citing military statistics.

Tuesday's firefight in eastern Afghanistan involved a 13-member team of U.S. Marine and Army trainers assigned to the Afghan national army, the report said.

Eight Afghan soldiers and police and an Afghan interpreter also died in the battle, which lasted for hours with insurgents unleashing a barrage of gunfire and rockets from mountain positions, the report said.

When an Afghan soldier demanded helicopter gunships, U.S. Major Kevin Williams replied through an interpreter: "We are pinned down. We are running low on ammo. We have no air. We've lost today."

The Americans were assisting Afghan forces in an operation that called for Afghans searching the hamlet for weapons and then meeting village elders to plan police patrols.

But U.S. officers suspected insurgents were tipped off about the operation beforehand, as the coalition and Afghan forces were ambushed as they approached the outskirts of the hamlet at dawn, the report said.

If we aren't going to provide combat support to the troops, then let's get the troops the hell out of there and bring them home!!

About speech #264 tonite......

Wouldn't it be nice if Mr & Ms America, while watching the POTUS voice the words of the TOTUS tonight to a joint session of thieves...... kept these questions in the forefront of their minds?

- The Congress passed the $787,000,000,000 (billion) dollar porkulus bill 'by sundown' last February because without it, the Country would curl up and die in a depression which would make '29 look like a tea party.
Now, nine months later, barely $200 Billion has been spent or committed.......? Could it possibly be that the Porkulus bill was merely a ploy during a hyped crisis to put nearly a Trillion bucks (read - power) in his and his cronies hands. In my wildest dreams, I couldn't imagine a congress of either party giving a president of either party such a blank check for power brokering in my lifetime.

- One of the better kept secrets of this Health Plan that O tried to get passed by sundown before the recess:
If passed, it does not go into effect until 2013!!!!! That's right - the Bill won't go into effect until O has been safely re-elected in 2012, so voters can't see it's results on their lives until after the election.

If it's an emergency that needs to be passed NOW, why wait four years to implement it? The answer is obvious....

I could go on- but I hope some of you will share some of these questions with your friends....

Brits Bash 'disingenuous' 'Bama and Clinton!

Apparently PM Brown is mad as hell and ain't gonna take back stabbing from the White House anymore.......

Whitehall said US President Obama and Hillary Clinton's reaction to Abdelbaset Al Megrahi's release was 'disingenuous'

Downing Street has hit back at Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for attacking the decision to release the Lockerbie bomber. President Obama and the US Secretary of State fuelled a fierce American backlash against Britain, claiming Abdelbaset Al Megrahi should have been forced to serve out his jail sentence in Scotland – but a senior Whitehall aide said their reaction was ‘disingenuous’.

British officials claim Mr Obama and Mrs Clinton were kept informed at all stages of discussions concerning Megrahi’s return.
The officials say the Americans spoke out because they were taken aback by the row over Megrahi’s release, not because they did not know it was about to happen.

‘The US was kept fully in touch about everything that was going on with regard to Britain’s discussions with Libya in recent years and about Megrahi,’ said the Whitehall aide. ‘We would never do anything about Lockerbie without discussing it with the US. It is disingenuous of them to act as though Megrahi’s return was out of the blue.

'They knew about our prisoner transfer agreement with Libya and they knew that the Scots were considering Megrahi’s case.’ Mr Obama said Megrahi’s release on compassionate grounds was a ‘mistake’ while Mrs Clinton phoned the Scottish administration to complain in person.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband are said to have been ‘disappointed’ by the force of Washington’s response. American politicians claimed the Anglo-US ‘special relationship’ had been damaged ‘for years to come’ because the UK had gone back on a joint pledge that Megrahi would stay behind bars in Scotland. Former US Justice Department official David Rivkin said it was ‘duplicitous behaviour’.

Since Obamanation's 'Green Jobs" Czar and house commie resigned last nite.....

I thought it would be a good time to review the scorecard and see how many 'czars' are still in the game. None of them, have been vetted by the US Senate, nor their Advice and Consent sought.... as you look at the (yes, lengthy) list, ask your self........"Aren't these supposed to be Cabinet Positions or at least Assistant Secretary Positions? If the answer you give yourself is yes.... then ask yourself 'Why is he doing this?" You won't like the answer!!!

List of Obama's Czars

August 21, 2009 - 5:26 ET

As of July 20, 2009:

• The Brainroom counts 32 czars in the Obama administration, based on media reports from reputable sources that have identified the official in question as a czar.
• In addition, President Obama has said that he will create the position of cyber czar, and there have been media reports that there could be a health insurance czar and a copyright czar. When and if those positions are filled, that would bring the total to 35.
• Since czar isn't an official job title, the number is somewhat in the eye of the beholder.

NOTE: positions that also existed under previous administrations are indicated with an *.
